I can’t sleep. I can’t. sleep. It’s 4am and I still can’t sleep. So much has been hitting me. My mind has been drowning in fear, worry, just bad thoughts, I’ve been laying in bed for hours fighting these thoughts until I finally got tired of it and decided to get up and praise God, and then I found this song. I teared up, your peace is a promise. A promise! And I felt it! And after everything I’ve done you still decide to give me peace, to love me, to never leave me. You didn’t give up on me... why??? WHY???? I’m obviously not worth it!!!! Yet you say I do?!?! Yet you’re still here?!?! For what reason????

This song came as a blessing. I suffer from anxiety and recently have been dealing with a lot of it. Many nights, it's hard for me to sleep. The moment I listened to the lyrics of this song, I felt so calm. The lyric at the end "All anxiety bows in the presence of Jesus, the keeper of peace" is absolutely beautiful. It's something I must constantly remind myself. Jesus IS the keeper of peace and peace is absolutely a promise that He keeps, always and forever.
