Another tip ( Ive used on the Current- because the banks and debris changes year to year)- Two 30-50 ft 3/8" nylon ropes for "Lining" the canoe through questionable spots. My buddy and I walk the boat thru on the shallow side letting the canoe float along in a few inches of water. easy peasy. Beats dumping.
Buffalo National River is in Arkansas. It is absolutely beautiful and is home to the tallest waterfall (209') from the Rocky Mountains to the Appalachians. ua-cam.com/video/mugkcZLJaYc/v-deo.htmlsi=efqqRmm41SrACvS8 ua-cam.com/video/mugkcZLJaYc/v-deo.htmlsi=efqqRmm41SrACvS8

Great 💡 idea. Thanks for the comment.
Cut some 3" foam pipe insulation cut about 6-7 " long and stretch over the gunnels for your legs/knees to rest on.
