Picking up my 2024 SL AWD this Saturday. Previously owned a Maxima and 370Z (and 280Z many, many years ago). Never had a single problem with my Nissan's or Datsun's, unlike my Ford's and Dodge's.
The sv is a better fit for me since I live in SoCal I don’t need the awd. I’m amazed of how Nissan improved the interior and exterior compared to my mom’s 2015 Altima and the 2012 Sentra I use to have. Nissan is improving so much and loving it.
Had the cvt issues been resolved? I’ve been a Toyota driver all my life and I’m really considering an Altima. I drove a 2024 for 2 weeks as a rental this summer and completely loved it. I’m really to move on from my 20 year old Toyota. My main concern is cvt. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Drove a 2024 SV trim as a rental. This is the most uninspiring vehicle I've ever driven. Feels ultra cheap, doesn't ride particularly comfortably and the materials feel like they were pulled right out from the budget bin. The CVT makes the engine loudly drone under load and the vehicle feels more sluggish than a 2011 Corolla we once owned. If I owned one, I'd have little confidence this vehicle would be reliable 3-5 years down the road. For a brand that advertises 'performance' and 'sportiness', this thing is an embarrassment.
Not a fan of the car but I will say it's an ok vehicle with plenty of pick up for everyday commute but if your looking for something with a bit more actual get go I'd stick with the 370z or save for a gtr. I drove an altima sv as a rental and its not that comfortable. Seats I can say nissan do better . This isn't a car I'll go on a long drive with . I'll take a grand marquis or lincoln before I choose one for a long ride . If your like me you won't like the steering or the godforsaken CVT it has . Doesn't feel good to me . Dct is the way to go for me .
I dont know man. I loved the sv. Did a 9 hour 18 drive with it. It's all about changing the height, tilt and short to long settings. Changes the pressure in your body. Specially on incline and decline. The secret is to mess with the seat setting.

I've noticed that some trim levels of the Altima doesn't have rear vents. Passengers being comfortable is a must for me.

You never mentioned the SL Bose sound system. That was pretty much why I chose it 🤣

Can't expect much it only one trim above the base model

I just bought a 2024 SL and I’ve gotta say, the zero gravity seats are extremely comfortable. Like sitting on a cloud.
I even drove it for 12 hours straight and it was great.
Just get a Lambo if you want a real get go car

Is it real leather or fake leather?
It's all fake or synthetic leather. You'll never get real leather for this low of price
