  • Motions for Spousal Support and Exclusive Use of Property
Plaintiff Has Disrupted the Business Due to an Extramarital Affair
The court noted the arguments of Mr. Todd representing the plaintiff and the defendant's two motions for spousal support and exclusive use of property. There was confusion regarding a $29,000 account that was supposed to be divided between the parties, with the plaintiff still having access to her half of the funds. The court ordered that the plaintiff be entitled to receive her share of the funds. Mr. Todd proceeded with his argument for spousal support, stating that the defendant should continue the status quo of depositing funds into a joint account or pay two-thirds of the fixed expenses due to his higher income. The defendant argued that the plaintiff was living beyond her means with a high car payment and expenses, and had not shown evidence of actively seeking alternative employment. The defendant provided proof of his own expenses and a rental agreement for a new location. The court was informed that the defendant had returned half of the $30,000 to the joint account prior to the motion being filed. The plaintiff has disrupted the business due to an extramarital affair, causing discomfort among employees at the clinic. The plaintiff has also taken supplements from the clinic and interfered with security cameras. The request is made for the defendant to be granted exclusive use of the clinic and for both parties to continue paying their marital bills.
Dad Must Sell the House to Pay of His $108,000 Child Support Debt
    • Dad Must Sell the Hous...
Child support is money paid by one parent to the other parent for the purpose of providing financial support to a child or children. Most frequently, child support is paid by the non-custodial parent to the custodial parent, but this is not always the case. Depending on where you live and the agreement you reach, the child support you pay or receive and what expenses it should cover will vary.

Yep. It should be dual custody unless their are extenuating circumstances. Women using the child support to support themselves has to stop.
Women are now equal with men, so they should have to assume half the financial responsibilities.

He'll eventually have to take her to court to get a judgement for her to sell the house so they can split the money. There's no reason he should pay half on a home he doesn't live in because she will sooner or later move a boyfriend/ husband in and this guy shouldn't have to pay squat in that scenario. I'm glad she doesn't get spousal support but they need to sell that house for sure.

Spousal support needs to end. It's absurd that somebody still has to pay for the upkeep on someone they've divorced, and quite frankly more often than not it's the women who initiate the divorce so it's even more stupid.

I don’t agree. I just believe it needs to only be in some instances.
When I met my now ex husband I made 3 1/2 times what he made. I had a fully furnished very nice condo at 19. My family was dirt poor so it was all me. I provided 100% of everything and never complained. I got pregnant even with two forms of birth control (one taken every night at 6:30 when I walked in the door from work and he saw this daily- it was for medical purposes.) I got pregnant and was put on bedrest at 11 weeks along. I gave him an out. I could leave and move to my parents and he could simply not be involved. He chose to be together. Even on disability I made more than him. After giving birth I was told I had to move with my company - two locations to choose from. I chose. He, however, had an opportunity that he said he wanted to take. He knew what that meant, we exhausted ourselves in talking about it. Our child had medical issues. He told me he wanted me to be a SAHM for our child’s safety and well being. We discussed this. He traveled all the time and we trusted no one with our child and didn’t live near any family with his new job. He made more than enough. He knew what me not working would do.
Long story short, after 19.5 years he decided he never wanted to be a husband and he wanted to fuck girls now almost half my age. He didn’t want to be a husband now that our child was at school. I didn’t fight it.
All of my money that we reinvested he was able to hide over the past two years. I trusted him. So I lost all of the money that started those investments. I could have taken him to the cleaners. I didn’t. I didn’t even get a lawyer. However, he knew me not working for 19.5 years would make finding a job impossible. I’ve applied to hundreds. I worked corporate prior but it doesn’t matter. We split what he didn’t steal from me. I never told our son or anyone what he’s been doing (stealing money that was built off of my money) and cheating while traveling and not being there for me or our son. I’ve said nothing as to not destroy my son’s relationship with him. We split the house proceeds. I’ve been jobless 8 months now. All day I look, revamp resumes, go into places just be told to do it online where I immediately get kicked out because of no work history in the past two decades.
Per state law I could have gotten 25% of his income for the rest of my life. Part of me wanted to hurt him for what he did to our family that I gave up my whole career for. I didn’t. Told him 4 years at 10% of his current income. Four years gives me time to go back to school. Had my parents not moved to this state from across the country for me, I would have had him rent me a two bedroom apartment as well for four years. He owes me this since I lost my career for his. That he refused to keep a local job so he could help with our child who couldn’t go to daycares or after school programs and needed a parent on call 24/7 to get to the school, to stay home (which he missed usually half or the year for all of elementary.) My company would have paid for my degree 100%, I’d have full benefits, a huge 401k by now, and free living accommodations or a housing stipend. I can not go back into this field at this point. We moved states and areas all the time so I couldn’t go to school and we had to focus on his schooling for his job to help his income. He owes me. Had he been honest then I would have had at least two years to start school or find a job that I could live on - instead he lied, betrayed and stole. I could have gotten a lawyer and strung thus along and sued him. I could have done lots. I didn’t.
Now, I went from a beautiful custom (built and designed by me) home on land, with a pool, into a 8x9 room at my folks house. I could have gotten more but I didn’t. I’m hurt, betrayed and heart broken but harming him harms my child and even those he’s 18 now he’s still my child I’m choosing to protect for his own well being. It fucking sucks. I legally could have done so much but washed my hands of it and am trying to pick up the pieces. I will never live alone. Men don’t understand women lose value at age 35. I’m 40. Finding another man is out of the question, it would never happen at my age. Starting a new career won’t even happen. I’ll be lucky to get medical benefits somewhere. Even when I go to school I’ll be almost 45 when I’m done. Finding someone to hire me may never happen. Women lose all value and no one hires them. It is why women become bitter because men can do this to us after stealing our best years and leaving us to pick up the pieces which most never do unless they never actually left their careers or forced their husbands to also do child care. Women are penalized for having children in the work force. They are passed up for those who don’t have to leave early sometimes or call in sick because their kid is sick.
Our society needs to protect moms more especially when so many men refuse to do sick dad duty and refuse to do what they need to do to help protect their wife’s career.
Women shouldn’t take more than what is needed from a man. They shouldn’t use kids as income. They should actually try their hardest to make their own way. Many men are not fair tho just like many women use their kids to punish and profit.
If people would just do what is right we wouldn’t have cases like this to watch.
I also find it comical my husbands family always called me a gold digger when even after I quit working I paid 75% of all of our expenses and for 99% of everything regarding our son for over three years. I also made more than him working only 4 days a week. I wasn’t a gold digger. I’m simply a woman fucked over by the man she thought she’d grow old with, a woman told to stay at home because that’s where he liked me and that when our son had kids I could help watch them since his wife would probably need to work to pay the bills as well. Now, I’m paying the price for trusting him.

So we are not going to see where the ex-wife is wanting more money than she is entitled to, and wants more money from the ex-husband. No he should not be paying for her insurance or car payment, No he should not be depositing anything in a joint account. Nope they agreed on 50/50 for the bills not the Ex-husbands fault she cant live and hold this account. Yes, her attorney wants him to live in horrible areas, and this is to make up for the exwife to live in the home.

I like to watch court stuff about spousal support bc my dad and abusive former step mom has been divorced for about 15 years and my dad is remarried for about 4 years.. once the child support stopped.. (my half brother turned 18 last year) .. she hasn't worked for over 20 years. She refuse too now she's trying to go and get spousal support now from my dad and she's tried 3 times and the judge has laughed in her face and dismisses the case everytime .. she's now living in a hotel room with 3 of her adult kids and 4 grandchildren. I don't feel bad at all seine she wanted to physically, mentally, verbally abused me and my older brother for 6 years.. and was a pro hiding it from our dad seine he worked 3rd shift and slept all day until 2 hours before he returned back to work.. it's a very long story
