My dad was always so fit and strong and then one day his dementia appeared and within the five years, he deteriorated quickly and it was the hardest thing ever. I cried so much but I'm glad I held him till his last breath.

When my grandpa was in ICU due to COPD, he was in such a state that l couldn't imagine. He was in ICU so no one was allowed to see him but few days later the doctor sent him to home as there was nothing that could be done, as his lung was maximum damaged and ICU bills were increasing. We did the whole setup at home and had a nurse for him. I still remember in that state only he was telling how much he loved us, how he wanted to make more memories with us and how he really wanted to live. But nothing could be done. After he passed away, on 2023 Nov, few days l was crying really badly, but then l realised that it is actually life and life cycle and no one is immortal and one day we all have to leave this world and all the pretty things that we made, we only take the relations, memories and emotions that we made. So guys how many days you live: "Make memories, Do silly things, fall in love Be embarrassed Express your emotions to trusted people, Do what your heart But never stop making memories, because that's what is our real treasure."💛

Just seeing him so choked up, trying to laugh it away, going red and trying to catch his breath to calm down, made me cry too... hahahaha. At the end of the day. Even like the brightest of stars still get emotional talking about their old people. I am not so single man living in the city for almost 3 years, away from my parents and its highly relatable since I haven't gotten to visit them as wel. I've always felt like I'm an okay son compared to my eldest brothers, but I have always felt like I am a bad one too? Does that makes sense? Anw, just some grown man here crying and rambling over this random reality show.
