Seventeen is self produced and self choreographed group they really started from 0 and became one of the biggest and successful kpop group in the world with their hard work trust me more than 8 years into their carrer but not a single bad performance
They r called theatre kids and synchronization kings dancing kings of kpop Because of their amazing performances
They r talented, funny and very humble
Killing voice is a program where artists makes a big medley of their whole discography haha so the songs of course are longer
They are the king of synchronization

and all the members did the killing voice in just one take so there arent any back up but its them singing for real in just one take
"Mansae" in korean means "Hurray!", This Killing Voice is a live performance content from Dingo. It features Artist, korean artists, singers and idols. They perform their songs or a medley of them (in this one seventeen did it with thier songs from debut in 2015 to the year this video is uploaded as part of a promotion of their new song titled HOT) with only vocals. Specifically for this kpop idol group Seventeen (some of their songs have choreography), this is a popular performance because it shows how they are good live, their timing, their live harmonization and they also seem to enjoy this performance. It looks fun. Their energy is uplifting.
so SEVENTEEN debuted on 26 of may 2015 and they all do their own thing as 4+4+5 as units divided as hiphop unit performance unit and vocal unit respectively and woozi the blonde short guy has produced composed and written almost all songs and hiphop unit members write their own rap all vocalists can also rap and dance all rappers can also sing and dance all dnacers can also sing and rap theyre very talented and theyre known as self producing group and king of synchronisation and theatre kids of kpop
SEVENTEEN is my favourite K-pop group, they are the og self-producing group! Songwriting, composing, arrangement, choreography and producing, they deal with everything. They're also known as the synchronisation kings of K-pop and one of the best performers and singers imo. I hope you liked their music, I'm looking forward to the part.2 of this video ❤️

3:26 the guy you said didn't look korean, is born and raised korean, as for the red hair guy you said looked very korean, is actually born and raised Chinese 😅 there are 4 foreigners in the group, the red hair and kinda blonde guy on 6:22 are both Chinese, and the guy that presented "Darling" in English along with the guy with a black and white blazer are both american

So glad to know that my favourite artists' music is easily accepted and enjoyed by a fellow Italian music lover! I'm surely old enough to be Seventeen's grandmother since I'm almost 60 but age is not important when it comes to good music. This group is easily one of the best things that happened in my life, I call them my happy pill. I think that you are slightly underestimating them when you say that their music is mild or polite or something similar, (can't remember your exact words, sorry😅) but it is understandable since in the Killing Voice there are only brief excerpts of their songs.
I really hope that you'll react to more Seventeen's songs, their music is really, really good. There is a reason why these man have taken the world by storm!!! Love from an Italian Carat mom💙🇮🇹💎🙋🏻♀️

Well that was fun. Thank you so much for reacting to Seventeen on the Killing Voice show. It's a tease because one only gets to hear snippets of some of their songs. They debuted in 2015 and most had been in training for 3-4+ years before that. They know each other very well and are very committed to each other and to excellence. I think that is what makes their music so good. No one has left the group and no one has been added plus they just signed another 7 year contract. They have 110 songs last count and they cover many musical genres. I'm waiting for part 2 and I'm hoping you react to much more Seventeen content. PS I like your hair.

SEVENTEEN called SEVENTEEN because of their 13 members + 3 units (hiphop, vocal and performance) + 1 team = 17. And yes, they can all sing because they all trained for their vocals, not just vocals but also in dancing. They are known for their synchronization, being unique and self producing idols 🤍

I heard that wonwoo (the one with the white shirt with black stripes) lost his mother before this and took some time off, and i suppose that's why he doesn't sing much in the video. It's really sad thinking he is singing this line with what he has gone through (11:46)

What I think is interesting is that kpop is actually NOT a "genre" of music. it's really hard to explain but it's more of a production process than anything. But that means essentially any music genre can fit into the kpop category from metal to hiphop - now obviously supply and demand make it that the biggest groups are controlled by the korean market quite a bit as it is in every country but it is why you noticed some similarities probably (i, as european myself (hi), find that koreans like ballads like WAYYY more than we do here and for example metal is quite foreign to them which is huge here). I've seen people explaining Seventeen in the comments here so you dont need me for that but if you want some not-so-chill or unusual kpop you can try groups/bands like Dreamcatcher, Xdinary Heroes, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, NCT, LUCY or korean hiphop artists like BeWhy and Simon Dominic or or kr&b like Dean, DPR IAN. have fun most of all❤ oh and try Forestella for those bangin vocal performances~

First of all thanks for reacting to Seventeen! Second just to give you a heads-up if you decide to react to kpop again. So comparing groups aka "they sound like BTS" can get a lot of people annoyed at you. It's not a good idea. Also its not only teenagers who listen to kpop! I'm 35 and have loved it for 4 years. I know lots of kpop fans that are in their 30s+. But thanks again for reacting! You really seem interested and that's nice to see.
