I love how when you click on the video for the viking boat, you see racers in the background.
I can 💯 recommend that escape boat you passed on the way to that paddle board event- my fiancee and I did it for my birthday back in October- it was great craic.

The bus - scary! The paddle boarders were a cool bunch and thoroughly enjoyable
This Canadian stood up and saluted these fine Irish athletes for getting into that water in winter. I put a sweater on just watching, hahaha!

That Viking Splash Tour is actually really fun. It’s tough using inflatable paddle boards in the winter, the cold water makes them lose some pressure and get a bit floppy. Fiseán iontach

One thing is for sure- Irish folks know how to have fun!

I tried teokbokki this weekend, Korean sticky rice fingers (imagine boba texture, a thumb's worth) in a spicy sauce you would have loved! Have fun in Cork!

Summertime water temps on the Gulf coast often reach upper 80s F,and I cannot imagine how cold the water in Ireland would be in the wintertime!! Brrrrrr either way..
Especially with the jet stream coming down from the Arctic Ocean.
When you finally come to America I hope you get to Boston so you can, among other things, go on a duck boat tour and see how that compares to the bus in the river! And I'm so glad you did not get hit by the bus! 😅

We have the "Duck Tours" in Boston where the boats have wheels, tour around the Boston Harbor, and then on land around Boston. Everyone quacks when they come by lol

Your not to be playing frogger with the local buses little lady. I chuckle every time to comment about going into Dublin, you sound like me fuss'n about having to go into town for my grocery shopping once a month. Brrrrr winter and being on the water is not my idea of fun, but very interesting. Enjoy your pasta hope you have a grand evening, scritches Miss Millie.

Please avoid getting run over by busses in the future because... the journalism must go on! I know they say with enthusiasm that paddleboarding is for everyone, but my ancient body is too decrepit for such stuff. I wouldn't mind flotation again, but that's about the limit. Have you tried it? I know there are flotation places in Dublin because I checked. Do please say hi to Millie!
