Indeed sad, I’ve got a 05 stage 3 factory installed SRT4 in mint condition with every tasteful bolt on possible and has 51k on it. Still have every piece of documentation and factory part that came off of it.
What a mess! That whole front end showed signs of a front end accident. And those rims 🤣 . I'm sure the motor is coming apart on this one . At least it's in good hands now. You got this Matt 👍
I had a buddy that got taken buying a car just a little bit worse than this and he parted it out and junked it because the front end was so tweaked being in a past wreck.
I totally believe that this one should have possibly been a parts car in its condition. I fix all I can when I get them and get them back on the road …
I used to have a silver one I purchased that was stock with a bov that had a whole bunch of half assed mods like a crappy battery relocation kit, etc. Needless to say ended up getting rid of it because the previous owner did a number on the car. It was too much for me as someone who is a college student. Hopefully the new owner can do the car justice but it’s sad to see people treating a car like that. My brain hurts looking at that mess lol.
I exactly, but it gets better or much worse wait till the next video I found so much more the crank needs replaced in the engine .. this timing belt replacement turned into an entire mess….
If it was me I'm not sure. I would maybe bring it to a body shop and have them see if the front end is still tweeked. If it's not straight I would probably make it a parts car for a better shell.
Sad news is 80% of srt4’s out there today are like this or worse. Poor cars. Been rescuing/ restoring mine for 3 years now.
I’ve been fixing this type of owner damage and then passing on and then the new owner does some of the same things

I personally know this car and the previous owner 😳😳😳😳😳. Ive watched this car go from meh.....to clapped out in the span of months....

So say this were your car would you spend the time/money fixing it or would you part it out/sell it?
