I found a seller on Mercari who makes handmade crochet Pikmin stuff. They made me oatchi and 3 different Pikmin and they genuinely are nicer than the official merch
If your child likes Louie, I have some good news. They still have some San-Ei-Boueki Louie plushes at bigbadtoystore. It seems like it's based on the 2004 one but is not made of that vinyl-like material. I checked and they do ship to Canada.

Nintendo and Sanei are seriously dropping the ball on the Pikmin hype lately, focusing too much on Pokémon and Kirby. They could be banking on making plushes of the Wollyhop, Fiery Blowhog, Flint Beetle, BreadBug, and the Bulbear, but for whatever reason……..they don’t. 😑

Im not a collector(anymore, i used to have alot of angry birds merch but its lost in time now) Becuase im in a between poor and rich country family, and i doubt they will buy a $40-$500 figurine that is a creature with red and white polka-dots on its back. 6:39 also I WANT THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a giant custom-made Red Pikmin thats over 5 feet tall bc i dont like how the official one’s nose droops down and is more rounded. That was like $300 I got the Olimar and Louie plushes that dont have vinyl, and those were each like $25. Wish they would come out w ones for the Pikmin 3 and 4 captains, as well as the Ice and Glow Pikmin
I recently purchased a three set of Olimar, Louie and President figures that I bought from Japan (for $97) however I noticed president has a helmet on just like the other two yet I’ve only seen other people with president without a helmet so I’m a bit confused and it is licensed on the bottom of the figure.
I should have bought theme when I was little (they were so much cheaper(I remember a bundle with all the enemies and some Pikmin for like 30euro(like the bundle quickly show at the end that cost 680$)))

Tbh they need to make actual pikmin merch outside if Japan like plushies, figured and other stuff. We barely have any figures….
closest we got was world of nintendo which is quality but doesnt have as many things as the japanese merch

Apparently the Big Pikmin Plushies could only be obtained though crane games in Japan, and there’s supposedly even bigger Pikmin plushies out there.
5:50 at one point years ago I found these guys sealed still on EBay and bought them. I opened them, and I regret, yet don't all at the same time. 😅
