I have this testimony and it just changed my spiritual life overtime. God brought me closer to this Saint somehow and I became a true child of this Saint and thanks to this channel, I have learned a lot of the ways of St Pio.
Many years ago when I did my confirmation our class was advised by the RCIA instructor to find a Saint that would become our Patron Saint for the rest of our lives. I was troubled because I was born in the Catholic faith, but my mother didn't really teach us about who the Saints were, so I had no idea who to choose or even begin looking. I prayed to God to help me find a Patron Saint. A week later I was watching a program called "Unsolved Mysteries" that showed a small segment on Padre Pio, and I was drawn in by the testimonies made by the people who have experienced a miracle by his intercession. Not long after that "Unsolved Mysteries" did a whole episode about the life of Padre Pio, and as I was watching the program I realized that Padre Pio was meant to be my Patron Saint, that is how he came to me. I'd like to think that Padre Pio picked me to be one of his spiritual children. 🙏
