- This is a very common WordPress issue "There has been a critical error on this website." where the WordPress dashboard becomes inaccessible. This is mainly caused by outdated themes or plugins. To solve this you need to access the WordPress directories using the hosting cPanel or FTP, rename the plugins or themes folder, then debug the issue as shown in the video.

A theme, especially an older one can break your website also. deleting the X theme was needed for us to fix our website. Then we had to do minor updates after grabbing a newer theme.

I am getting the same error but with the Redux Framework plugin. I need this plugin to properly setup my themes.
I have tried various versions of Redux framework. However, it still crashes my website. So is there a way to resolve the issue?
Delete the plugin and reinstall an updated version of the plugin. Before you do that make sure all your other themes and plugins are up to date to avoid conflicts. Also make sure your Wordpress version and php version are also updated.
