Hi Jeff! I’m glad you enjoyed hearing a little unknown Mozart. He did write it for two pianos as a vehicle to perform with one his students (who he referred to (hilariously so in my opinion at least) as a “fright.”)
It is very unusual to be able to listen to this sonata, the only one that Mozart composed for two pianos. A work considered by many to be secondary, although I find it very stimulating in this version by the Scott brothers. Good end to a (not very) classic weekend. Well done, Jeff.

Mozart was indeed inspired by God. Genius. To think that this was written for a student as a duet.
