Aye alright; because 60 seconds of footage off some randomer's phone is representative of everything that happened all over the town that day. Don't be so bloody naive. I'm a Rangers fan and when loads of fans took to the streets and blocked up the town last year I said in advance that the police should've been harsher because if they weren't it sets a precedent that this kind of behaviour is ok (and by that I mean celebrating in the street en masse, getting pished and leaving the place a state for the council to clean up; plus all the accompanying antisocial behaviour which inevitably comes in a crowd this large - and you can deny it happens all you want but it does regardless if it's green or blue). There needs to be an alternative for fans; a place where they can congregate and not disrupt people. Because right now it's not sustainable. Right now we're out celebrating winning leagues, but if Rangers win on Wednesday are we expecting Rangers fans to be out in the town again? How long before we're out celebrating domestic cups? Or absolute worst case there ends up being rival groups of fans clashing in the streets leading to violence like in the 80s and 90s. Take your green tinted specs off and realise that in terms of how this behaviour (from both sides) is for Glasgow; this isn't good
@@andrewmather9076 what behaviour from yesterday are you talking about Andrew 🤷🏻♂️ apart from gathering in large numbers and drinking in public , there are no similarities to what went on TWICE last year when we were under Covid restrictions . It was more than “ some randomers” 60 sec video that was doing the rounds last year and you know it . And yesterday didn’t end with police moving in to disperse the crowds whilst under attack from fans throwing all sorts at them. I’m not for a second suggesting our support is lily white and all wee angels who don’t act up from time to time . But yesterday wasn’t one of those occasions . The clamour to try and “ equalise “ the events of last year by Rangers fans and media alike ,by using yesterday is laughable … absolutely laughable and again … you know it . God help Sevilla
@@Jimmy_Cooper I feel your response is rather biased unfortunately mate and that tends to be the problem with football in Glasgow. No one is equalising - all this mass gatherings in the town is bad and can't be allowed to continue (in my opinion). The two instances are distinct but definitely similar. Not once in my previous response did I downplay what happened last year; I thought I made clear that I wasn't a supporter of it but perhaps you've neglected to read that in your haste to bite back and try to separate the two instances and draw distinctions between them. The issue of Covid is however relevant, and made actions last year 'worse'. However if Celtic won the 10 I find it hard to see how there would not have been similar scale public celebrations with relatively similar results (as the increased police presence was largely due to Covid restrictions having to be enforced initially). A quick scan of the morning's headlines is showing a number of arrests for assaults and other ASB in the city centre as well as elevated levels of crime across the city as a whole; plus he town looking like a complete riot which public money needs to go towards sorting. This objectively isn't as bad as Rangers fans total disaster last year; but it's definitely on the same scale.
How very original 😂😂😂 the mess that was was left was appalling as per no mention in the media in Scotland total cover up it’s what we’ve come to expect to from likes of SNP Scotlands shame
Great support just subbed
Abdul’s taken it right up the Khyber. How apt. I do feel sorry for him, though. All of his ‘friends’ absolutely despise him.
Hes one lost Soul

Best support fans
Contrast these civilised scenes of honest celebration of a job well done with last year’s spectacle of Hunnic depravity.
