Filippo surftrip Iceland & Auroraskaters

Late september 2024 surftrip in Iceland with surfer/artist Filippo Ermini and bodyboarder/surfskater Jose Junior Huilcapaco , and Alaïa Bay surfcoach Pablo De Martino • PABLO SURF ICELAND 4K , and a few more french and american friends...
we had arrived september 27th in evening, got our cars, saw the weather and swell situation and headed north to sleep first night late in Borgarnes. Then on 28 september we drove to Olafsfjördur in northern Iceland . There was still good swell from a storm further north a few days earlier.
Water temp was 6°C if I remember well, and it was even slightly colder air, with occasionnal wet snow flakes ... brrr...
After the surf we slept in Dalvik. Then on sunday 29th we drove back to Reykjavik to attend a symphony concert at Harpa ( Dvorak New World ) , then drove to Hella where the skies would be clear and enjoyed the northern lights.
final images in this video is from early october with two other guests, two surfskater girls from Switzerland... we saw northern lights every night during their 7 day visit. ;-)
