This song and episode 14, made me tear up and appreciate the anime even more. It was hard to watch Violet work so hard letter, after letter, song after song, and being told that it was no good. Sure, there's been even more gruling tasks in her life, but this one was relatble in a way. She came to her friends for help. Still to no prevail. But she found a way to do it. At that point, she accpted the song and teared up reading it, I wondered, really wow? Must be a good song. And oh boy was I in for a treat, moments in the anime were heartfelt, but this one came out of nowhere. Such graceful singing! Beautiful song and anime. Would recommend to basically anyone!
"The letter Violet wrote unfroze time for me and Irma, we, here and now, together with his song start to move forward" This part struck me deeply, i know people who lost partners on the war, they always talk off the fallen ones like they are still kids, its like they really get their time struck. It was so nice seeing an anime treating a thing like this with such respect and beauty.

Very Beautiful Cover. This anime (Violet Evergarden) with this composition caused strange changes in me. It allowed me to see myself as I have been told many times to listen to my own voice. Inside me there are emotions but I found that those emotions and feelings never left me neither my voice carried them. The mono tone I have is still a big communication challenge.
