The game follows Mega Man as he pursues his arch-enemy Dr. Wily, whose most recent ploy for world domination involves the theft of an experimental time machine. Mega Man confronts both Wily and a number of enemies from his past, including a new and mysterious robot named Quint.
This game was originally released as Rockman World 2 in Japan in December 20th, 1991. It is an action-platform video game by Capcom for the Game Boy. It is noteworthy for having been developed by a different company than the rest of the Mega Man titles on the Game Boy.

This was my first-ever MegaMan game back in the day…good times…good times.😌
It is a masterpiece, with the limitations of the space of the Gameboy cartridges, they did everything possible to leave, at least that sound that you hear. If you had been born in those times, You weren't saying the same thing. You would appreciate what could be done back then.
With only 8mb of maximum space, they did wonders, it was also more space than a 1 2mb floppy disk, you don't know what the floppy disks of the 80s and 90s were.
Well, I started by defeating Clashman, then Metalman and then I went for Woodman, I didn't know it was quite easy, when I played it on the Nintendo that boss was very difficult for me. and I suffered a lot defeating clashman, until I could find the pattern
A quality Mega Man game! Awesome playthrough!
Let’s go mega man
I Want This Game Rockman World 2 🤩
This game never had bad soundtrack! It was accidentally an octave higher so the soundtrack is a little unbearable to listen to. The melody is still great though.
Contrast to the previous World game, this one might be the easiest game in the franchise?
The sound and music feels so wrong tho
At least the made new music and not nes remixes
Music is terrible. Unfortunately, Minakuchi Engineering were so busy with other projects, so Capcom farmed this out to Thinking Rabbit. I'm legit shocked nobody has done Game Boy remixes of the NES Crash Man, Metal Man, Wood Man, and Air Man themes.
Until Mega Man Maker there is an NES remix. And I agree with you and to be honest, my favorite themes are Wood Man, Crash Man ( Oh, I'm sorry, I mean Clash Man as they made an Engurish typo), Air Man, Metal Man, Wily Stage Part 1, Hard Man and Needle Man.
Pour moi c'était trop facile Megaman 2 Game boy.
This game is infamous for his bad soundtrack
