The scan tool worked great. I never could get my printer to find my computer so after downloading the scan tool that worked. I don't know why my printer would not find my computer to scan. It works fine for printing but the scan tool works like a charm. Thanks

Another thing to try (which is what was the case for me), that you have downloaded the correct driver for your AIO device. Once I downloaded the driver for my printer including the utilities everything started working. Hope that helps someone (the someone will probably be me in the future when I've forgotten this again).

Sadly none of those things worked to get my new scanner to communicate with my laptop.
Make sure you have gone to the epson website and downloaded the specific drivers for your printer. Most times they'll come with the whole driver and utility bundled together.
