I was at the 2016 Tokyo Dome performance(s). 55000 sold out both nights. The crowd was an interesting mix of metal heads, Dads with their daughters, random foreign guys like me (Australian) and cute girls dressed as BM. One thing was common - it’s clear that BABYMETAL is ADORED by their fans!
After the concert I went to a bar with some local guys I met and all the restaurants and bars in the area were blasting BM tracks - what a fantastic time that was!! Japan Rocks! 🤟🏻🤟🏻

I'm glad you enjoyed the live concert! I don't know where in Germany you are, but I travelled up from Switzerland to see the gig in Munich for this tour. Definitely see them again in their tour towards the end of the year! Get tickets quick.. the crowd will be 100% BABYMETAL fans then and it'll be crazy 🦊
I also much prefer this kami-band.. the original classic kami-band. The band on tour with them right now are called the "Kamis of the West" and different members.. they do a fine job.. but half the draw of BABYMETAL to me was THAT original kami-band (with some small variations allowed.. there is a larger pool of players from the Japanese kami-band too.. but this was the classic lineup). I was a fan of Ohmura before BABYMETAL existed.
The first guitarist you see here (7 string black guitar) is Mikio Fujioka. He sadly passed away in early 2018.
The second guitarist with the pink guitar.. named "Twinkle Pink".. is Takayoshi Ohmura. He was Mikio's student and also plays in Marty Friedman (ex. Megadeth)'s band.
The bald bassist is called BOH ^-^
And Hideki Aoyama on drums

Absolute best version of this song. Splicing the different concerrt visuals into one seamless performance is epic level ediitng. The crispness of the sound simply blows the album version away. Su, Yui, and Moa dance-running in black silhouette against the blood red sight screens is breathtaking. The Kami band - God tier musicianship. This is Babymetal at their very peak. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I saw them live in Hannover and in Köln, 2 and 1 weeks ago when they opened for Sabaton. To me the best thing was how Sabaton fans appreciated BM, they came to me after the show to check my BM t-shirt and to talk about the band. They were not prepared for what awaited them.
That's good to hear, in most of the fan cam videos they seem to be just watching, not joining in or reacting very much.
@@Grington300 Everybody enjoys concerts in their own ways. Some are there for the WODs and the moshing, some just want to sit in the upper circles and enjoy the sounds and the visuals like a theatrical performance.
We are not the same, and we should not judge our fellow concertgoers on how they enjoy the show.
I have also read some comment on reddit BM fans complaining why the Sabaton crowd was "so dead". I let you know they were not "dead", they enjoyed BM very much, just not the way we are used to it. In these comments I found that BM fans were judgmental and had the wrong attitude.

I wasn't talking about any lack of mosh pits etc, but the fancams suggest those people who are towards the front in the standing areas are remaining motionless, more like those people who prefer to get a seat and to watch, and it seemed unusual that the cameras have not caught at least a few more people jumping or waving an arm in the air here and there.
I was actually saying it was nice to hear the Sabaton fans you spoke to had enjoyed it and were interested after all and that the fancams were clearly not telling the whole story.

This version of this song is perfect for introducing Babymetal to people. The heavy intro with the kami band plus the cute singing later form a great caught off guard. Sums up the concept wonderfully 🍅🦊🍫

Between the Sabaton tour and the headline tour in November, they are doing 12 shows in Germany. I would have been very sad if you hadnt been to one. They did their job, they made you happy. That is the ENTIRE point.
You should go again, see a full set show in the fall/winter.

This is the best song about playing a game like hide & seek blind man's bluff or tag that I know of ... but they are playing it with an Oni (a sort of Japanese ogre👹).
The growls are on backing track - that was the Oni asking things like "Are you ready?" and the best response has to be "Maada da ya" (No, not yet) while doing a running away from an Oni dance.🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀👹
Once in a while the Kami Band get their chance to have some fun in the spotlight with an instrumental intro like this before the girls come on for the song itself.
This particular compilation video has clips from different concerts spanning several years, the audio was taken from the Wembley Arena concert in 2016 (at least some of it anyway).

That’s what makes them so interesting, you have the contrast between the heaviness and aggressive music and then you have these 3 beautiful Japanese girls singing pop music. I’ve seen them and I also love the show

7:53 I think this is my favorite part of the video after watching it 100 times lol. The kami band looks like they're having so much fun right there when they drop into that ending riff. *edit* for recommendation I have Kimi to Anime ga Mitai | LIVE at Budokan Black Night (4K). Its a cover of a song by Kiba of Akiba that they probably will never play live again, absolutely mental song and performance you won't be disappointed :)

Im a little late to the party here been out of touch for a while. I imagine that someone must have pointed this out already Biss. This was a compilation video. Imo actual concert videos are best but compilations are great as well if you're a big BABYMETAL fan like we are. Please do more of the older concerts . Btw the big stage in the beginning with the coffin shaped runways was from the concert Live at the Tokyo Dome. Great DVD.

I saw Babymetal live in Hamburg 3 weeks ago and unfortunately it was only mega as a support act but it was still great but on 18.11. I'll see Su-Metal, MoaMetal and MomoMetal live again in Hamburg but this time as a headliner I'm really looking forward to it ❤

I believe that Team BABYMETAL, with the addition of the audience, is the true BABYMETAL. The tour with Sabaton is over and the Asia/Australia tour is about to begin. After that, they will be touring and Festival in the U.S. I hope you will be able to join them at one of their live shows😚

I've been working really hard to separate myself from corporate messaging whether it be commercial advertising or political manipulations of real world events. I'm like so many other people right now, past trauma coming booming back during a rough time, that's being exploited for gain, in the world. My anxiety and rage are trying to pop in all the time (they are not invited). I'm just trying to live my life as I choose, and as it pleases me (I follow laws, rules sometimes not so much).
I'm focusing on me, on my family, and on our Home. So many problems fell by the wayside, I'm cleaning and fixing many things, it's therapeutic. But, sometimes not enough therapy, I am just now cleaning the results of a rodent infestation in my garage workshop (I'm wearing a mask), so gross.
So, my next therapy for the day, a short-break with Bisscute. Lightens my mood, brings the anxiety down.
The Kami band is certainly one of the most powerful heavy metal band in the world, they hit so hard !
And about the Trio... they killed it as usual :)

I am half Japanese. I know a lot of Japanese women who are old but look young. I just found out that the members of Babymetal are under 26 years old. I thought they were older. Asian women who are senior citizens look their age though.
