That's what the statistics say, and no politician can come to power against it. Whether she wants it or not, Serbia will often have to choose options outside the EU. The sooner Serbia and the EU begin to redefine relations the better for both sides. For decades, Serbia has had the largest exchange with the EU. Over 70% of investments are from the EU, and for all those decades, Serbia has been at the bottom of Europe in terms of living standards. This is so called "neocolonialism" (economic) and a completely new economic policy is needed to return the country to the path of economic development that will be accompanied by an increase in the standard of living. And in such conditions of economic colonialism, everything that the country achieved, it did so on the basis of cheap energy sources. Since the EU's insane and suicidal policy of "sanctiomania" they gone, Serbia is facing much greater price and cost challenges.
