Sometimes you also get time to serve the country. You travel the whole world. A new country every day. 5 stars hotels. Luxury layovers. Salary about 6-8 lacs. Adventures also at 35000 feet. Classic uniform. Meeting celebrities. Flying VVIP persons. Exploring the world. Why people always disrespect airline pilots? They are the one who are away from there home so that you can reach your home. No matter what the time is, no morning, no night. Yes they SACRIFICE alot because I am a mother of airline pilot and I know so well. No doubt Fighter Pilots are great 🇮🇳 but its not right to comparing professions and disrespecting one. @fa6inroy what guarantee is there that you can crack NDA or Afcat exam and interview? Most of the pilots get job because there are thousands of upcomming vacancies. In airline tests you have to give exams first and once you gave exams then u go for flying. We completed our flying training on loans and we cleared all our loans whithin 2 years and now enjoying our childhood dream. But ya everyone have there own choice. The main point is that you can't compare two professions. Every profession has its own duty own work own responsibility. Like airforce is to guard our country and airline is for transportation. Every profession have its own motive to work

At last its hard to become airforce pilot as selection process is very tough you have to clear upsc nda + 5 days of ssb + cpss + class medicals.
