They do use there locos 24 hrs a day it seams Peter, engineering train weekend, then back on container working the rest of the time. thank you for taking a look at my video.
@@antman09ful1 They seem to be on engineers around my way all the time, although the 69's are regulars, of which i enjoy . thanks for posting i really enjoy your content
Does anybody know if you can get decent views of the yard around there? I'm from Brum originally now living in Sleaford and I'll be back for a visit in a few weeks time.
Thank you very much Mark for watching my videos, I do appreciate very much the comments people like yourself leave. Small Heath yard is on the line between Birmingham and Solihull about a mile from Birmingham Moor Street Station. Regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 hi Mike, brilliant thank you very much for the information I did see a billboard with Birmingham written on it near the end lol, have a great day 🎉🎄
Hello, lovely shots of small heath ,I was a box lad in 1964/65 with lots of memories, also of Banbury worked there in the 90s,Oscar.
Thank you for telling us of your early memories Oscar, and for watching my video. Regards Mike.
Really interesting, have never seen this location before and good to see it busy 🙂.
The yard is being used again after many years of no trains using it for the building of that railway nobody wants Ian.
I can remember in the 80s and 90s there used to be an 08 shunter parked up. Interesting to see the yard so busy again
Oh yes I forgot about the 08 being there.

Interesting location Mike, as you say looks like a busy place.
Considering most of my interest in the railways around Birmingham this yard was never used until about two years ago.
Great video as always Mike, looks like a busy yard, nice to see 66709 at the end too👍

Does anybody know if you can get decent views of the yard around there? I'm from Brum originally now living in Sleaford and I'll be back for a visit in a few weeks time.
Only from Small Heath station I believe, unless you have so ladders with you then I think there is a shot from a road bridge.
@@antman09ful1 that's a pain, you can see a bit from Saltley Gate Bridge but not a great deal :-(
Saltley Gate is no where near Small Heath. So I don't know where you want to go.
@@antman09ful1 it's OK that's the only place I know where you can see down the track a bit, haven't been for ages!
Great video as ever mike, I watch all you’re videos, but my bad where is small heath may I ask ??, have great weekend thanks again, 🎉
