I lived in Altoona from 1953-1976. As a young boy we bought popcorn and candy apples from one of these trucks and we always looked forward to hearing the “rattle” of that old antique engine and the delightful sound of the steam whistle. It was a beautiful piece of art then. I would live to see it again!
