EMT I would like to know if it is normal when I use my dji osmo mobile 2, my iphone gets very hot and the battery is very fast, is it normal? Thank you so much 😊
The battery definitely will drain pretty quick. That’s why I almost all the time have it plugged in a battery. It shouldn’t get super hot but definitely warmer then usual. Specially if your filming at 4K 60 fps. If it’s scary hot go to the store for them to check it just in case. Hope this helps!
EMT Thanks a lot for the help, today I was using dji osmo and then the app crashed a few times and my iphone stopped working, I was a bit scared, I'll soon post another video, thank you again😊✌🏼💯✅
Been watching videos about the Osmo Mobile 2 for hours and honestly you're the first one I watched who seem to really know how to operate this thing. Great and helpful video. Thank you!
I've been a video professional for 35 years . . . very nicely done presentation! Nice and trim . . . not too much fat! Going to go out with my new toy now! Thanks again.
Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed the video! Better yet that you got motivated to create! Means a lot coming from an experienced professional! I appreciate your time! 🤘
Mine just arrived in the mail today. It was a bit confusing to use at first but this video definitely helped a lot. I’m sure I’ll love it once I get the hang of it. Thank you!
E M T Hey man, combination of stuff, but mostly recreational, capturing my favourite parts of England - The Peak District & Cornwall 👍 I’ll share a link when I’ve had a play 👊 Happy weekend!
That was beyond dope that you left that ladies plug in your video when you didn’t have to. And for that act of humanity, sir, you have earned my humble subscription. Lol.
Hey thanks Bro. Just got mine out of the box and can't wait for it to finish charging to try it out. This video was a great way to keep me distracted ..Great JOB
@@EMTFILMS Thank you for responding. The initial results are very good with the Samsung S7 - and the weight .... I don't have to lug that other heavy gimbal around! I now need to find a way of getting a wide angle shot for what I do with motorhomes!
Thanks bud, ive been staring at this thing for 3 weeks not having a clue about how it works. 1 video in and im looking forward to going through all of them to learn all about it...
Using an iPhone 7, any tips when using filmic pro as there is the iPhone stabiliser, the filmic pro stabiliser and the of course the osmo should I turn the filmic pro one off?
Well, depending on the type of movement. If its very subtle the DJI Go app offers the most tools for timelapses and active tracking. If you’re moving briskly then the Camera app and Filmic Pro provide Digital Image Stabilization to compensate for the small jittery movements caused bu the OIS mechanisms. I add on top of this a bit of software stabilization if needed. I mostly use the native camera and switch accordingly. Hope it helps!
Your 100% correct - being "chilled" DEFINITELY brings better results - I'm learning the hard way, but the chilled def has a better "mood" to the footage - even without music :)
thanks for the tip. just picked up the 2nd gen after my 1st one died on me. i like buying my gear from best buy with the geek squad protection. when my mobile 1 died 3 months ago, Bestbuy gave me my money back because it was under their geek squad warranty period. that was $350.
i have not had much time for my Osmo 2 for quite a long time so re-watching this to refresh myself.... very helpful tutorial as was the last time i watched it 😉👍
Incredibly jealous that you're within driving distance of such beautiful scenery! I live in the UK in quite an urban area so struggling to find places nearby to film! Appreciate your work dude keep it up !
Congratulations on your new DJI Osmo Mobile 2! Just a heads up DJI announced the Osmo 3 this morning and it changed a bit. The Osmo Mobile 2 is a fantastic tool regardless. Just felt like letting you know! Thanks for sharing your time with me! Hope it helps you with the business! 🤘🏼
Really enjoyed your video! I wish I would have seen it before I started this big project!! Can you please go into detail about how you switch between the molds. And the more in-depth description of the modes. Also go into the specifics of how you set up the Osmo to shoot yourself and follow you using the rear facing camera. Please please please please please! Thank you so very much for sharing what you’ve learned!
Hey I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Looking to start a series soon from start to finish and talk about all the small details! Stay tuned also for the upcoming live-streams! 🤘🏼

I lost my osmo mobile yesterday so I went and bought the new one today but I was so disappointed not being able to lock the video, and I didn’t know what to do without the trigger, I was so upset whit my purchase until I saw your video!! Thanks a lot!!! You only missed on how to use it on vertical mode!!!
Ok, totally new user in every way. Watched 4 videos for this gimbal and YOU connected with me and the dots VERY well my friend. Nicely done. Do I admit to being a 30 year film vet? It takes time to get used to the whole vlog mentality. Please if you upload any videos with it I’d love to see them! Thanks for your time! I really appreciate it! 🤘🏼
Thank you for your tips on how to use the Osmo mobile 2. You answered many questions that I could not find in the manual. For example, you can not record while switching camera modes (from front to selfie) on an iPhone.
Glad you liked the video! That would be a great feature! I don’t know why it’s not an option since Instagram for example has that capability. Thanks for sharing your time with me! 🤘🏼
Thanks! Glad you found it useful! Congratulations on your new osmo! If you have any ideas feel free to share it here and we’ll nerd out and test a bunch of stuff! 🤘🏼😆

Dam man your band kicks ass!
Well, depending on the type of movement. If its very subtle the DJI Go app offers the most tools for timelapses and active tracking. Thank you so much! 🤗 Releasing new content for the band soon! You like metal music?
