I have a question, in what year is this ep happening? It would be in age of ultron (2014), but then appears Thanos with all the stones, that appeared in infinity war (2018), but Asgard and Xandar arent destroyed by Thanos, and the guardians are in the soverein planet like in volume 2 (2014). And Asgard was with no protection cause Odin was in earth and Loki was replacing him
Age of Ultron was 2015.... GoTG2 was 2017 as was Thor Rag...most likely the story starts not long after Age of Ultron in the main timeline. Odin would of been on earth at the time (Dark World in 2013). Taking over and destroying the world would have taken awhile... its not unfathomable that it took a few years allowing thanos to start his rock collection. The gap in the story is actually Thanos himself.... while the power stone was on Xandar and obtained before Infinity War... and obviously Ultron has the mind stone... the others dont make sense. The Soul Stone was hidden and we see Gamora on the planet she's on during GotG2... so she's never sacrificed. She also was the only one who knew where it was. The Reality stone was being held by Collector so ez enough. The space stone was on Asgard though so unless he invaded Asgard which it doesnt seem so based on what we see in the episode.... theres no way he gets the space stone (which in our timeline required Rag to happen). The Time Stone would have been held by The Ancient One at the time.... so thats plausible.
@@vetwar2x445 According to Infinity War, Thanos slowly waited until all the Infinity Stones were revealed so he didn't have to waste time collecting AND searching the cosmos with a target on his back. Thanos starts his rock collection after he learns that Gamora knows how to get the Soul Stone, which he learned from Nebula after she failed to kill Thanos (After GOTG2).
@@vetwar2x445 Well, as Thor died in age of ultron, Ragnarok doesnt happen, so maybe when Thanos invaded Asgard, Loki as Odin gave him the teseract (as he knew Thanos since avengers 1 and knew his strenght). That is how he could have obtained space stone, but no clue of soul stone
What if...is just all over the place continuity wise, it's like the authors are fanfic writers, but from what I've heard its canon...it just kind of directly contradicts other existing canon, so we have to make up other explanations for things. Like the infinity stones being established to not work outside their home universe in Loki, which would make sense. But What If... says they actually do, so now we just have to say that the TVA is just specifically more powerful than the infinity stones.
1:01 So this means that Mad Titan Gamora (the version of her wearing Thanos' armor) came from a different universe and will be featured in the next episode.
Here's the thing. The next episode should be the finale, and I think that the Tony vs Gamora episode was pushed back to season 2. She appears with the other characters so I wonder how are they gonna do this.
So you're telling me that Vision could have actually just lasered Thanos in half in the main MCU lmao. Edit: Not talking about if Vision could have in terms of character, talking about his ability to do so, I did not expect a Thanos with 5 Infinity stones to straight up lose like that.
Technically the bs stab weakness him in the normal timeline But it's very badly shown on the movie so he just goes limp and does nothing in infinity war
Let me explain some points: ----- 1. All the episodes that are shown to us in the series do not have to follow a chronology similar to the MCU, because the events of each of them take place in different universes. The universes only adhere to the basic foundation of the chronology of the MCU, but are not obliged to copy the chronology of the sub-frequent 2. The Time Stone Thanos could get by finding it among the ruins of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Ultron staged a nuclear apocalypse across the planet and it was unlikely that the mages of Kamar'Taj had the opportunity to survive it. 3. Regarding the space stone, reality stone, soul stone and power stone, then read the point 1 again 4. The Mind stone is able to cut Thanos in half, and right now I will explain this: Wanda's forces are superior to the Mind stone in energy power, and are also capable of destroying the uru armor of Thanos. This means that the Mind stone is capable of inflicting damage to uru metal with a certain force of impact. 5. Regarding Ego and Guardians of the Galaxy, read point 1 6. Regarding the work of the Stones outside their universe: in the Endgame, the Avengers calmly stole Stones from other timelines and then calmly used them for "Snaping" in their timeline
Bro, please, stop writing the story for them. Whatever satisfaction you found in this, that doesn't make it well-written. All of the points you detailed could have been made implicitly or outright. They were not. And 'It could be an alternate timeline so that's why things are fundamentally different' is a garbage excuse for enormous variations if they weren't stated. Supposedly everything led up to Tony making Ultron circa Avengers 2. "Well, look: the story make sense if you assume that maybe you can't trust literally any detail about what you think you know and yet were told you could rely on."
@@babyyoda4942 I'm a bit confused, did he mean nanobots as in the tech used in the stark mark 50/85 suit, which isn't possible cuz he didn't even make it, or does he mean like nanobots which are supposed to be Ultron sentinels using Pym particles? As an computer science student I admit that this episode reflects accurately the ability of what the computer can actually do if they achieve the highest realm WHICH will never happen. You see that as a Human, we’re all have the 2 essences of “what make us human” are Critical Thinking(creativity or self-awareness) which is the most valuable advantage that only human have. The second thing which is the most IMPORTANT thing that made us “human”, but also our BIGGEST weakness when it comes to solving problems: Emotions Meanwhile, the computer still has one step ahead of us is the ability to compute and evaluate logically every problems in unimaginable speed and come along with highest accuracy. But you guess it, It will never achieve the creative level like human being. Unless… Theoretically no entities should have the capability to have both that two powerful essences without having a drawback like Emotion. That entities is Ultron and with the approach of the infinity stones which brings him the infinite powers. So that’s probably why the Ultron will definitely be more powerful than Thanos when they have the same most powerful items in the universe. That shows us how much the Emotions has restrained the awareness and capability which we could have been capable of
Vision got stabbed and Thanos came in ready in our Marvel Universe. However, this Thanos legit walked into a destroyed Earth with only Vision/Ultron as the last 'living' being. Thanos was probably like "Wait. Wtf? What happened to the Ave-" and straight up get cut in half by the mind stone.

The fact that ultron didnt just snap and erase all life shows how little he understands about the stones or maybe what he really wants. He seems confused with the idea of peace when what he really wants is destruction. If he wanted peace he could have just had it all with the infinity stones.
Thanos was ultimately a much more flawed being than Infinite Ultron. Thanos could only process so much information about the stones, and foolishly used them all at once to wipe out half of all life. Infinite Ultron knew the cost of doing such a thing all at once, and simply went about it at a much slower and steadier pace where he wouldn't be at all worried about any lethal blowback. Even more probably would be that his vibrainium infused body could withstand strain of using all of the stones at once for such a big thing, but why bother when slow and steady achieve the same result with no risk.
I mean c’mon at that point Thanos with all those infinity stones was the most powerful being in the universe. No way single being with just one would be able to take him out that easily. Time stone?
For using the time stone , he smh needs to create the loop around his gauntlet just like how strange and our main timeline thanos did in Infinity war. Here , vision just craped the F out of thanos just as he enters the scene , not giving him time to use any of the stone.
@Sami Gibbons The Mind Stone isn't the most powerful, the Reality Stone is and the Soul Stone is the deadliest. Mind doesn't do shit when you can warp reality and all the other stones to whatever you want and you got a Soul Stone that can rip out the soul of whoever's mind controlling you
So you walk out of a portal and see a guy standing alone... Thanos wouldn't really have enough time to react to the laser beam-thing Plus it's the "MindStone" so it could damage his hard skin
Reason why the mindstone killed thanos so easily: no time and budget for the fight, thanos already had his spotlight, and it would ruin the watcher fights spectacle. So instead, just dispatch him comically easily to show how powerful he is. A lot of things do this. Comically easily dispatching a documentedly powerful foe just shows the audience they're not messing around
@@Krawna no, they actually showed them fight. Thanos is just stronger than the hulk is. People have to remember the mcu power scalings were all nerfed. Hulk can't punch through planets and lift mountains. He fought Thanos and quickly got dispatched. It wasn't a time or budget thing, it was intentionally done that way to show off Thanos strength.
What I like more than Ultron being an absolute monster is also how they made sure just how powerful the Infinity Stones are. Ultron uses them at their full potential and completely annihilate the universe, we've seen MCU Thanos did it but we weren't shown the impact outside of earth which really ruins the scale.
Well, if we wanna get technical Thanos and Vision while both are genocidal maniacs have very polar opposite goals, Thanos sought to bring balance into the universe by cutting half of it's population so the other half can flourish and prosper, conquering the universe was never his goal so he doesn't need to use the full potential of the stones Ultron however wanted to bring peace into the universe but his idea of peace is that no other lifeforms can exist beside himself so in order to pursue his goal of being the only "living" Thing in it's universe he has to use the stones at their full potential
Well, his programming was limited by the Earthly technological constraints. Only with the Infinity Stones (particularly Mind, Soul and Space) could he see the bigger universe.
@@jakubrejak1114 Yeah. I just thought it was weird since that was the reason he was built. I get it; he looked at the internet and decided to wipe out humanity, but (sort of like some people today), he didn't acknowledge that aliens have the same capacity for being evil, if not, worse. They have Thanos, Dormammu, the Kree, Ego, Hela, the creature from Shang Chi, etc that want to wipe out half to all life too. It's like he acknowledged his programing without acknowledging the reasoning. He wasn't built because humans are evil, he was built because aliens are worse.

That Thanos split was hilarious. I am confused by the timeline though. I was under the Impression that AGe of Ultron happened in late summer 2015, Guardians 2 happened in late 2014, and Infinity War in late spring 2018. How can Ego still be here after Thanos arrives on Earth? Shouldn't Ego have died even before Ultron was created? How did Thanos get the Time Stone even before coming to Earth? Did Strange leave Earth during the Age of Ultron to look for Thanos?

I had a game when i met determined exterminators as AI, yeah.
First aliens i met after some primitives and fallen spiritualist empire were jamming all signals, they clearly did not wish for their codes to be broken. I thought that they were just some inward perfectionists, no big deal, and was expanding slowly. Than they cracked my codes. Omni Eradicators. Driving exterminators. I declared war immideatly, hoping to take choke point, build a station there and hold untill i'll be ready. To my surprise their fleet did not show up. I pushed in, even took few planets with almost no resistance. Well, pushed in untill i took planet in a system where marauders raiding fleet ( i did not noticed) was going to, so they became hostile to me as well. And since i took it and eradicated eradicators, it stayed in abandoned system on checkpoint right near Omni capital.
In second war i pushed in, again, to my shock without any resistance. Right untill i found their fleet and ground army.
@@vetwar2x445 guardians volume 2 takes place in 2014

@@vetwar2x445 Well, as Thor died in age of ultron, Ragnarok doesnt happen, so maybe when Thanos invaded Asgard, Loki as Odin gave him the teseract (as he knew Thanos since avengers 1 and knew his strenght). That is how he could have obtained space stone, but no clue of soul stone
What if...is just all over the place continuity wise, it's like the authors are fanfic writers, but from what I've heard its canon...it just kind of directly contradicts other existing canon, so we have to make up other explanations for things. @Luke Jager No. It's Infinity Ultron.
@Luke Jager Ok ok ok. Jeez, I don’t wanna start an argument here. I’m sorry okay?
@Luke Jager vision is Jarvis
Let me explain some points:
-----
1. All the episodes that are shown to us in the series do not have to follow a chronology similar to the MCU, because the events of each of them take place in different universes. The universes only adhere to the basic foundation of the chronology of the MCU, but are not obliged to copy the chronology of the sub-frequent
2. The Time Stone Thanos could get by finding it among the ruins of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Ultron staged a nuclear apocalypse across the planet and it was unlikely that the mages of Kamar'Taj had the opportunity to survive it.
3. Regarding the space stone, reality stone, soul stone and power stone, then read the point 1 again
5. Regarding Ego and Guardians of the Galaxy, read point 1
6. Regarding the work of the Stones outside their universe: in the Endgame, the Avengers calmly stole Stones from other timelines and then calmly used them for "Snaping" in their timeline
I think you mean similar when talking about Wanda’s power vs Mind Stone
Bro, please, stop writing the story for them. Whatever satisfaction you found in this, that doesn't make it well-written. All of the points you detailed could have been made implicitly or outright. They were not.
And 'It could be an alternate timeline so that's why things are fundamentally different' is a garbage excuse for enormous variations if they weren't stated. Supposedly everything led up to Tony making Ultron circa Avengers 2.
"Well, look: the story make sense if you assume that maybe you can't trust literally any detail about what you think you know and yet were told you could rely on."
I mean he also has the nano technology. He is basically also Antman. He could just destroy everyone with nanobots
Antman doesn't has nano..it's called Quantum Tech....
@@babyyoda4942 I'm a bit confused, did he mean nanobots as in the tech used in the stark mark 50/85 suit, which isn't possible cuz he didn't even make it, or does he mean like nanobots which are supposed to be Ultron sentinels using Pym particles? If so, how would he even get his hands on Pym particles and why would he even bother to do it since he has all the infinity stones. Furthermore, it makes no sense to destroy everyone with nanobots as they are already dead. Infinity stones > Pym particles.
He doesn't even need nano, He already Has the Reality Stone
Are you talking about the scene where the black stuff lifts up the stones? Because i think ultron was just using telekinesis. Wanda can use telekinesis and she got her powers from the mind stone which is currently in ultrons forehead

The second thing which is the most IMPORTANT thing that made us “human”, but also our BIGGEST weakness when it comes to solving problems: Emotions
Meanwhile, the computer still has one step ahead of us is the ability to compute and evaluate logically every problems in unimaginable speed and come along with highest accuracy. But you guess it, It will never achieve the creative level like human being. Unless…
Theoretically no entities should have the capability to have both that two powerful essences without having a drawback like Emotion.
That entities is Ultron and with the approach of the infinity stones which brings him the infinite powers. So that’s probably why the Ultron will definitely be more powerful than Thanos when they have the same most powerful items in the universe. That shows us how much the Emotions has restrained the awareness and capability which we could have been capable of
He also immune to what killed iron man and ruined hulks hand and almost killed thanos gamma radiation

That and, out-of-universe, the What If crew don’t want to introduce Phase 4 things yet. As that will cause confusion among other complications.
I remember a comic where Kang fought Ultron, but continue to loose, and destroy the time-line, because Ultron was too much.
I can't believe UltronVision just defeated Thanos in a snap.
I think he just wanted to make absolutely sure he got everyone and wanted to deal with this matter with a more personal touch
He wasn't fast enough.
@Sami Gibbons The Mind Stone isn't the most powerful, the Reality Stone is and the Soul Stone is the deadliest.
Mind doesn't do shit when you can warp reality and all the other stones to whatever you want and you got a Soul Stone that can rip out the soul of whoever's mind controlling you
ikr but he just stood there like TF HAPPENED HERE?
So you walk out of a portal and see a guy standing alone...
Thanos wouldn't really have enough time to react to the laser beam-thing
Plus it's the "MindStone" so it could damage his hard skin
Reason why the mindstone killed thanos so easily: no time and budget for the fight, thanos already had his spotlight, and it would ruin the watcher fights spectacle. So instead, just dispatch him comically easily to show how powerful he is. A lot of things do this. Comically easily dispatching a documentedly powerful foe just shows the audience they're not messing around

A lot of beautiful shots in this show. They're like paintings. My favourites are Hawkeye's sacrifice and Captain Marvel Vs Ultron.
Legit very accurate to the comic book "Ultron kills Marvel"
What I like more than Ultron being an absolute monster is also how they made sure just how powerful the Infinity Stones are. Ultron uses them at their full potential and completely annihilate the universe, we've seen MCU Thanos did it but we weren't shown the impact outside of earth which really ruins the scale.
Well, if we wanna get technical Thanos and Vision while both are genocidal maniacs have very polar opposite goals, Thanos sought to bring balance into the universe by cutting half of it's population so the other half can flourish and prosper, conquering the universe was never his goal so he doesn't need to use the full potential of the stones
Ultron however wanted to bring peace into the universe but his idea of peace is that no other lifeforms can exist beside himself so in order to pursue his goal of being the only "living" Thing in it's universe he has to use the stones at their full potential
I love how he acknowledges aliens instead of just humans like the movie.
