As a former graffiti artist I was active during the Cornbread era. I can say murals are cool, but advertising disguised as murals are anything but. These are the things that graffiti artists go out of their way to hit. A few years ago I remember the most egregious example was an advertisement for a condo development near Center City stating that Philadelphia was the new Brooklyn! Talk about not going over well!
