First comment here! Hello my friend, thanks for a new reaction of your ABBA Journay "Take a chance on me" (1977/78) is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world, the most selling song of ABBA in U.S. (more than Dancing Queen), #3 in Billboard U.S. and their seventh #1 in UK Official Charts "Take a chance on me" is the second single from "The Album" (1977) , in my opinion the best ABBA album This is one of few song than the vocals are more extensive than the music (They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end) the blonde Agnetha is the lead vocal in the solo verses, her voice is so powerful, in perfect armonies and chorus with Anni Frid in co-leads vocal (and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance') Agnetha & Anni Frid have fantastic voices and harmonies together Agnetha is soprano Anni Frid is mezzo soprano and together made a 'third voice' the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging, by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt, adapted it to "take a chance", so the song born Although it is a europop disco, it is like a constant and happy march, captivating, cloying, addictive The official video is one of the most funny, with Agnetha & Frida in the center of attention, more seductive It was filmed a few weeks before Agnetha was mother for a second time, so She haven't recovered her figure before the pregnancy These is a video of a TV special in Switzerland 1979, for an International Year of the Child to UNICEF you could see Frida & Agnetha so beautiful , Agnetha more free in her solo verses if you want to do a very TV special reaction, my suggestion is two songs in a row: ABBA in Germany 1978 "Eagle" & "Thank you for the music" ua-cam.com/video/NgXft1zvUSE/v-deo.html (all in "The Album" is fantastic) I wish you a greatest week My best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina South América

Simple as that, they are all always smiling with bright eyes and really feeling what they sing and play, catchy tunes and lyrics, beatiful girls, smiling boys, there you have what ABBA is and their "secret" of success.
Again, I really enjoy your mild manner reactions. Mom had a lot of ABBA music. This was one of her favorite 70s dance groups. I grew up listening to lots of oldies. How about a Stevie Wonder? I love " My Cheri Amour" and "Don't you worry about a Thing". He is definitely one of the greatest.
Great song and great reaction. ABBA is a group of two married couples. The piano player, Benny, married the red headed singer Anni-Frid aka Frida and the guitarist Bjorn married the blonde girl Agnetha thats where the name ABBA comes from, their first initials Agnetha BJORN BENNY ANNI-FRID They come from Sweden. Bothr girls had super fabulous voices. But together they make up ABBAs so called third voice. Try some songs with Frida singing lead "Super Trouper" "Gonna Sing You My Love Song" "Waterloo" looking forward to more ABBA take care
Glad you found a live performance. Highly recommend ABBA "SOS" performance posted by "Антон Антонов" or the flirtatious performance of the same song posted "JW-Channel"

"Take a chance on me" (1977/78)
is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world, the most selling song of ABBA in U.S.
(more than Dancing Queen), #3 in Billboard U.S. and their seventh #1 in UK Official Charts
"Take a chance on me"
is the second single from "The Album" (1977) ,
in my opinion the best ABBA album
This is one of few song than the vocals are more extensive than the music
(They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end)
the blonde Agnetha is the lead vocal in the solo verses, her voice is so powerful,
in perfect armonies and chorus with Anni Frid in co-leads vocal
(and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance')
Agnetha & Anni Frid have fantastic voices and harmonies together
Agnetha is soprano
Anni Frid is mezzo soprano
and together made a 'third voice'
the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging,
by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt,
adapted it to "take a chance", so the song born
Although it is a europop disco, it is like a constant and happy march,
captivating, cloying, addictive
The official video is one of the most funny,
with Agnetha & Frida in the center of attention, more seductive
It was filmed a few weeks before Agnetha was mother for a second time,
so She haven't recovered her figure before the pregnancy
These is a video of a TV special in Switzerland 1979,
for an International Year of the Child to UNICEF
you could see Frida & Agnetha so beautiful ,
Agnetha more free in her solo verses
if you want to do a very TV special reaction,
my suggestion is two songs in a row: ABBA in Germany 1978
"Eagle" & "Thank you for the music"
