My neighbour on her property has mixed farming cotton and cattle. She won a Nuffield Scholarship to study biofuels in the Primary Industries. Interesting to hear about you growing corn for Ethanol. Coleson looking for a partner is a process, present yourself as what you can give the other person looking for a relationship, what attributes you have to make you to be a desirable partner. I’m not just talking financials, being kind, considerate and putting the other person first. These are the same attributes to be looking for in a future partner. You both take care of each other, no one person does “all the heavy lifting”. You are “fit” so don’t worry about what you look like. Neat and clean is attractive. I suppose depopulation of your area, is possibly a problem to meeting people. It’s best to join groups to see how others inter react with each other. Here in Australia we have to cover large distances to attend social groups, eg church, agricultural shows, displays, rodeos etc. Whatever you are interested in. We used to have a Rural Youth group that was such fun and also advocate for positive changes in rural matters. As they say marry in haste repent at leisure!
Seeing that row of railroad ties..... When my Dad passed, I inherited a portion of our home farm and we decided to build there. After our house was done, the first project was an adjacent field full of piles of railroad ties similar to the ones in your video. Over the next two summers I used a JD 2305 with homemade forks on the bucket to untangle and sort almost 3,000 ties, only about 1 in 20 being any good at all. I got a disposal permit, and had them hauled away. Today that field is once again producing hay. Your vid brought back some good memories....
The school bus contractor that I drive for, also farms about 200 acres and raises black angus cattle. NORMALLY they only have steers on the farm but occasionally there will be a heifer calf gets brought into the herd. One of their heifers was standing near the electric fence one day and one of the steers decided to get a little amorous with her. She took care of the problem by leaning forward and touching her nose to the electric fence. That steer came off of her and went running and screaming through the pasture. They said you could hear that steer carrying on all over that farm.
Cole, try a 5 gal bucket, put some diesel and some tide and fill with hot water from the power washer and use a scrub brush. Gets all that grease and oil and mud off. Careful how you stick the wand in the bucket. But it will mix up good. Cup of tide or sooo... two or three inches of fuel.... red fuel works just as good.... fill with hot water. And enjoy... dad will like it too cause you used the brush...
Thanks for making me laugh again. I always love the fun comments. Keep it up with these videos! And nice job cleaning the tractor and equipment! Your dad should pay you. Maybe a ice cream! LOL!!
Cole, oh yeah this video just took things to a whole different level. I do not know exactly how to describe it, but there was just this casual activity and casual interaction that has really never reached quite this level.
Danger! Danger! Danger! You all are living dangerously. Stepping over augers, playing with knives and worst of all 🔥flaming HOT Cheetos! 🔥 Great to see downtown Mt Vernon! Nice place. Thanks for another great Vlog! 🥁⚔️👍
Cole! We can't wait to see what lucky girl gets you! You are a total catch! We'd love it if our daughters found a guy as great as you! Hubby and I love watching you and your Dad 💕💕💕
When I sold my old skid steer, I advertised it as having a few "farmer fixes". Lol. Mainly some bailing wire as a fuel shut off, the safety solenoids bypassed and the lift pump was an electric pump out of a lawn tractor. It sold in a week!
Coleson, (your Dad said that first, I guess it stuck with me 😂 I get called Danielson as well so..) if I was still in North Dak, (used to do excavation in Minot, Fargo, Dickinson) I'd swing down and bring the guitar while you play drums. Give the cattle a concert. And of course, you're Dad, a cold, refreshing, smooth BUSCH light. 😂👍 Keep up the goodness buddy! 🇺🇸🐮💪❤️
So Cole, it's got t the stage now where the first thing I look at in your latest video is whether you have had a haircut, you have done this to me. I have never seen a J.D tech guy around the farm, do you do your own servicing on tractors etc? So you were in a marching band? I was a one man band once, I was so crap I was banned from most towns. Brian eh? he gets the old wood yeah? Cole, you pair always put out a great video, Thank you both for all of your hard work in keeping us entertained. P.S it's not gap teeth.......it's the London look. Stay safe.
Some of your shots are great! And the editing gets better & better. I love the drone shots. I've learned so much about calving, cattle, farming, stock feed from your vids. Thank you 😊
You have learned much in your life young Weedwacker. You still have much to learn tho. You will have achieved total consciousness once you get to the point where you can turn a can of Busch Lite into something that resembles beer. Until you achieve that techniques of the Old Masters ( brewmasters), you will languish in globs of cow poo on your clothes and the occasional orders from your dad of " dance puppet dance!"
Hi we enjoy watching your video's , all the John Deere Tractors are brilliant,Only place you would see that many here is in a sales showroom, In Ireland the farms are not as big, Say hi to your mam and dad ,
Telling a female dog to turn her head and cough that was a good one! Hey, don't worry about being single. Just enjoy it and enjoy working on the farm. There is plenty of time for a relationship later. Michael Strahan has a gap and it has never slowed him down. I think you look fine with it.
MF Zack does a good job of camera placement but your Cole are the best. More unusual / educational views, great lighting, and wow the time you spend stopping, getting off, getting back on after a dozen yards, change again. Good job! The bull bit, cow in fence: short, very funny, most people 'prolly didn't get it. Your age group will make the most of this story-telling! Go Jack's!!!
That motor probably just has dirty connections and windings.. quick pull apart and blow out with lo pressure air and clean connectors with soft bristle brush/eraser would be easy to do before buying new motor.. =) Yes eraser. cleans connections without damaging or leaving possible filings to short out.. Navy learned trick
Great video Cole, and now I know what downtown Mt Vernon looks like. You just need to relax and enjoy life working on the farm with your dad. I don't know about that act machete though.
I literally just cleaned out a bin and had to hold the sweep back. Honestly, I never thought of a rope - I always hold it up with a shovel on the back guard. Those sweeps are nothing but a pain. I was at a Roundup meeting where the presenter drank some to show it was safe. That was many moons ago. I don’t think anyone would do that with anything now.
Another great video! If any dumb old girl tells you she doesn't like that gap between your teeth, tell her your cousin Zac Efron has the same gap, and then ask the girl standing next to her if she wants to go out ! ( that always works by the way, I saw it in a movie )
My neighbor tied a rope on a bin sweep once. He’s lucky to have both legs. Rope got caught in the sweep and somehow he couldn’t let go and the auger got into his calf muscle. Don’t become a statistic. Never hold onto a sweep. Figure something else out. Different size pulley on the unload or bigger motor
@@jacobsonne3366 They do have a different pulley to slow it down. I stopped in and asked for it at dakota fest one year and they talked me out of it. Said i wouldnt like how slow it goes and i listened to them. Next time i will demand it.
I’m not exactly sure if it would work but changing the gear box that drives the sweep from the center might do it. Or changing the outer wheel on the sweep
Were you spraying on a pasture the cattle are in? My young stock paddock has a lot of thistle and nettle. I have been at such a loss as to how to safely be rid of it all.

Cole ! I just saw one of your older videos where you were walking inside a bin was almost full. I thought that was really dangerous because if there's a void you can get sucked in like quicksand ! Is that true?
I am going to use your question to educate everyone about bins a little bit. Yes bins can be dangerous absolutely. For starters when you start taking grain out of a bin it will start sumping down in the middle. If it does not the grain is bridged and you absolutely do not want to walk on the grain. Grain can suck you down mainly for two reasons. One is that the grain is damaged and the top is bridged and there is a dangerous air space under the surface. Second biggest reason people get trapped in grain is having the auger taking grain out while the bin is still quite full and it is pulling grain down from a high point. When we are in the bin either the sump is not running or the bin is empty enough that our feet are on the floor.

Cole's new plan to keep raccoons and pigeons out of the barns... give 'em the old choppy chop!
My dad used to put a spreader of manure outside the fence so they would not push on the fence.
