Very excited to have this song out as it's been a long time in the making, and is the first of many tracks I'll be releasing in a metal-electronic style. I was a drummer and metal head growing up (still am) and I love being able to combine that metal influence with EDM. And yes, I love DOOM and Mick Gordon.
Apologies for the low audio quality on this, I made a small error on the video render settings and I somehow didn't notice until after uploading. All other platforms (except SoundCloud) have high audio quality. Won't make this mistake again.

EDIT: I realize due to a small export setting mistake, the audio on this is lower quality than it should be. Luckily it's not bad but is noticeable. I figured out the issue and it shouldn't happen again. Sorry bout that!

I've mostly dropped gd and got into doom a lot more. I absolutely adore every Doom game (even 3) for having so much effort and fun in each. I tried gaining motivation to start building crappy 2 minute layouts in gd (my other favorite game) with doom music but it never worked. The songs ive always built my layout to, were yours. Your music is amazing and they fit my building style super well. I think this, this will be how I finally combine two of my favorite games. Thank you boomkitty!

I've gone through three different names since the last stream of this 8 months ago. I first came here as Megaman50, then I was Draken for a bit (why I did this one I have no Idea), then I called myself Sundance based off a videogame character, now I just go by DeltaOmega. This was a long wait and it was well worth it.
I knew the basic composition and melody of the song but it was so different from the last version and so much better. Scott Foster Harris did an immaculate job with the lyrics, the twin strange drum hits hidden before the buildup was such a treat knowing only the people in the streams would understand them.
All and all I felt like I already knew the song but it was just made better in every single way.
I've absolutely loved Boom Kitty's work, ever since I found him out via Geometry Dash. All of his music has that magic that I really love, and this is a prime example of what I mean. The beats of the drums, the tune, mixing in with the vocals, it really speaks to me. It says.. "Nova, you should realize how underrated Boom Kitty really is." And god, have I done just that. Boom Kitty deserves at least 15x more subs than 78.9k.
