- In this video, I role the clip-on Corey Seager's 2021 highlights. Corey Seager the longtime Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop signed a massive 10-year $325 million dollar contract with the Texas Rangers this off-season. Corey Seager hit .306/.394/.521 with 16 HR's. Seager will provide veteran experience to the Texas Rangers with a lot of pedigree; Rookie of the Year (2015), x2 All-Star, and he was a part of the 2020 Los Angeles Dodgers World Series team.

The man can flat out hit. I think Globe Life Field will swallow his homer potential a little bit, but I would expect doubles and triples all over the place. And man, just watching him in the playoffs. Guy puts it in another gear in the playoffs. So excited we have him.

Good stats. Sets a solid bar, but not unrealistic at all. I like it. The only thing that seems a tad off about this list is RBI seems a touch low to me for hitting in the heart of the order. I get the argument that the lineup around him isn't great, but I would hope that our primary RBI guy (Semien notwithstanding) would drive in closer to 90 or 95 runs.
@@MikeOzmun projections on steamer have him at 82RBI. Although, it’s not like steamer is the end all be all.
@@TexasRangersReportbyCFM fair enough, but Adolis Garcia had 90 RBI last year, while, if we're being honest, struggling at the plate for a good portion of the season, and while surrounded by a largely anemic offense around him. I just can't imagine Seager does almost 10 RBI worse, with the additions we've made, and his track record vs Garcia's track record. Not to mention the fact that Garcia didn't even get the call til two or three weeks into the season. My bet for Seager is 90+, with the caveat that he's healthy all year.
