There is a few number of people who truly enjoyed this drama because it has a historical touch to it which usually is a choice made by rather mature people. Because most of the people like those common cliché love stories. But this drama has an amazingly unique plot. I just wish more people could praise it.

I loved Goblin but it was never my most favorite, or even Scarlet Heart. Both are somewhere at the top of my list but since watching Hwayugi, it's always been my #1. But what do I do now? Chicago Typewriter is the real deal. I can't even see myself moving on from it. 😭 I feel bad for Seo Hwi Yeong and Ryu Su Yeong. And for Shin Yul. I even pity Baek Tae Min and his past self.
Yoo Ah In is a great actor but he really did a really good job with that kiss. He made it look like Seo Hwi Young was in physical pain for kissing Su Young only then. 😭💕

I watched a lot of Korean Dramas. And honestly, as a person impartient, i always passed the scenes that for me it's so long or for me it's no need and waste the time. But for this series, I have to take attention of every scene. Good job to every one: the production' s team, the actors and actress: Yoo Ah In( I'm always your fan, you are a actor talented, you always takes care of every project film that you plays), Im Soo- Jeong, Ko Kyeong Pyo( you too, always handsome and work well ^^), Kwak Si-yang,.... Wow, I'm so sad and crying a lot to finish this drama, wow, what a masterpiece and this drama for me is a classic!!! I'm fascinated by dramas that take place at that time 1930 around, the aesthetics are so wonderful!!! I loved the chemistry of this trio and for me this is the best trio I love them so much and this scene is absolute cinema, The best part is when he returns the kiss lol so does her expression, it was this splendid scene that made me watch this drama that I wanted to watch for a long time but hadn't seen yet. Their acting was impeccable especially Yoo Ah In, he is truly a splendid actor, but wow, all the actors gave a great performance!! I don't know if it's a drama that is that dramatic but I I cried in scenes where I wasn't even supposed to cry, I cried more in these last episodes i cried like hell because I just loved this drama so much that I didn't want to finish it 😭😭😭 the osts are so perfect!!! i loved absolutely everything, The plot is wonderful, the cast, characters, comedy, romance, cinematography, fantasy developed this drama and story so well... It's hard to explain but it was incredibly well done!! Now I'm going to cry while listening to the osts I'll never get over this couple and this trio, I can't handle how much I miss them already!!! 😭😭❤️❤️ It was really perfect watching this drama I'm sad it took so long to watch! I’m pretty conflicted about this series. On the one hand, I was (and still am) obsessed with the 1930’s timeline but felt that the modern counterpart just dragged on and on & undercut the effectiveness of the storytelling.
