First I followed Steve for his HVAC knowledge and then stayed for the Humor and laughs! Then He breaks out vintage lawn tractors which I am also interested in! Whaaaatf!
I'm here for the dog
He knows a lot more than plumbing. Loves whatever he does thats for sure.
@Brad-jg9vh no question about that. Which is why he's so good at his trade. He can do it all.
Don't forget the cooking videos, the chickens, the truck, the dog (STAR OF THE SHOW!)
@@mattblah7737 I like those chicken coop videos
Frame on that is as deep as a 3/4 ton truck! Man they dont build them like that anymore! I like these videos Steve! Thanks
I had an 89 JD 420 for about 20 years. Purchased new and used for mowing and snow blowing. Big brother to your 318. My P220G Onan ran great. Used Mobil1 15w-50 and changed it every 50 hours. Blew the engine off after each mowing. Kept the cooling fins clear and the air filter clean. Drained and refilled the hydrostat every other year. I did have to pull the engine once to helicoil the mounting bolt holes. Used studs with nuts from below instead of the original mounting bolts. Sold it for what I paid for it in 2009 but still miss it.
yeppirs, those dang rodents build nests in engines, a real PITA.
Your wheelhouse never ceases to amaze me.
There isn't anything you can't fix Steve! Awesome video, stay warm ahead of the snow and keep us entertained with your videos! 💯💥👍🫵👏☝️
I stand amazed by the breadth of Steve's knowledge, interests, hands-on abilities and great personality. Truly a neat guy & channel.
Looks like a good job for a hot water pressure washer
Steve, I keep a plastic cup upside down over my gas cap for this reason. Sometimes I leave the mower near where I'm working or ride it back to the house and leave it out overnight and of course it always rains when I do that.
Use some your plumber's silucone grease on the rubber fittings and hoses.
That new DAWN Ultra Platinum soap is a really good degreaser. Great for cleaning out sludge in gas tanks snd sumps.
Great video Steve! I really enjoy these JD saves! recycle, renew, reuse!
I know nothing about this stuff but looks like a fun hobby for you. Thanks for the upload.
wow, what can we say... someone loves those old tractors! Pretty cool, yeah huge job! I'll watch to end.
You might be able to take those weights and clean them up a little bit. And primer painting and then drill a hole in that pan so the water drains out so they don't rust great job. Videos of thanks
I made it to end. Like Dad said, you can definitely turn a screw driver Steve. Pretty cool!
She lives!!! Imagine if that tank was metal like a lot of vintage stuff. Way to wake her up Steve 👍
It’s alive! Steve, when you retire, you could make some extra cash refurbishing old John Deere tractors and selling them. You could work at your own pace, when you feel like it, and make a few extra bucks.
great video, keep them coming
Steve, the “bubble-foil insulation” on the firewall will melt. It will also flake off the silver foil from it plastic bubble insulation from simply being exposed to the outdoor conditions. It is only good in enclosed spaces….wall cavities in houses etc.
Coming along nicely Steve
Great stuff out back at Steve's place.👍👍
Are you going to primer paint underneath at least before you put it back together? Or go ahead and hit it with some green as well?.
Whatever happened to the trackless units ya had?
great job.
Great video love those old John Deere 318”s
Nice job Steve. Take care of yourself.
There is a cleaner that you can put in your gas tank and let it sit for 24 hours then pour it out it’ll clean most of that crap out of there. You might need to do it twice that one looks pretty bad.
I heard white vinegar and a quarter does the trick. Let it sit then Slosh it around
I'm thinking ones pickup the one with 90 tube is return. Good work steve!!
How those rear ends hold up?
Guess it helps to watch whole. Video .. never heard of a reserve on a tractor. Lol . Seems like heavy units!
Great job Steve.
Looks good Steven!!
Happy Birthday
Howdy Steve and Molly
fixing your mower is a job you do when the old lady is pissed at you or you are pissed at her so you go out to the shop and tear it all apart and clean the hell out of it and put it all together again after a few beverages of your choice might take all day and most of the night.
You should be Singing She's a Crusty one Mr. GRINCH on that 1.
Gotta love it Steve!
Steve you should look into an ultrsonic cleaner for those parts it will clean them up like new. Good for carbs and all those small parts.
i have one
steve needs to add a google maps pic at his house, john deer used parts
She's a runner, momma!!!!
IT'S ALIVE!
Hey Steve, couple cans of Sea Foam in that gas tank will clean er rite up!!
Never A dull moment. Mama. She's Taj mahol She's A LeakA
Just spray some carb cleaner along the manifold if it stops surging you found the vacuum leak..
Have your John Deere snow blower ready Steve? It’s coming.
Steve I’m in the same trades and have a few vintage tractors. Any opinion on wheel horse ? Thanks for the videos 👍🏼
Wh excellent too
neat hobby
Hello Steve!
Shes a CRUSTY ONE MR GRINCH
You need a pressure washer to clean that muck off.
LUBE !
Sounds like the China Rona in your voice
I heard the helicopter it must be the John deer spy plane 😂
“Yup, she’s a crusty one”
Theres your dinner
Steve, just buy new nozzles
That muffler is massive.
your gas tank had a case of diarrhea. i did the same on my 1980 312 it was nasty but it mowed like a son of a bitch after I fixed everything. i even bought a used mower with a blown engine and missing the wiring harness. hint don't buy from john deere you pay for the name.
