- Thoughts for S4??!! I’m so excited, I really do think S4 will be nostalgic to S1 and I’m all here for it. This show will forever and always have a special place in my heart!

I mainly use apple music, but I try to transfer over all the songs, so all the playlists are the same :)
All I ever do is cry lol. This was so much more than I could have ever asked for…loved it. This episode hit every single nerve in my body lol. I understand why Nini didn’t say bye, but her not saying goodbye hurt like no other. EJ deserves better, terrible father. EJ/Matt and Ricky/Josh have the greatest bromance ever. My Rini heart was put back together and my Rina heart was fulfilled. I’ll see you guys for S4!!
I love how Nini giving the lotto ticket signifies her closing the chapter on Ricky’s childhood. Both are moving on to better things

31:31 Olivia filmed all her scenes separately besides the one with Kate and the one with Dara. (The Nini scenes were all filmed back in December, Tim specifically asked Dara and Kate to return a month before season 3 filming actually started)

I think the ticket signified their and ending to their story (hence Ricky completing his list entering a new stage in life). I also think is shows how Nini still values their friendship dispite them not working out.
I don't think he was looking at Nini during Kristoff’s Lullaby (Olivia filmed her scenes separately I believe) since the song was meant as a confession for Gina, and how she's changed his perception of love - which is why he looks at her.
He was a lot more selfish with Nini in season 1 (joining theatre for the wrong reasons and interfering in her relationship with EJ). With Gina, he’s been considerate of her feelings (putting them above his own) and has stayed out of her relationship with EJ. I do like the ending to Rini with her giving him the lottery ticket. It's a perfect bookend to his childhood and past (Nini) as he steps into his future with Gina.
My takeaways from the finale:
1) Nini’s departure was done so beautifully. Honestly am so proud of her chasing after her dreams. She’s been the most inspiring character throughout the entire series. Cried when she left but she honestly deserves the world! I’ll miss her and Kourtney’s friendship a lot.
2) Kourtney sang down!! Loved her anxiety storyline. It meant so much to see two black girls talk about their mental health and actually advocating for therapy. It’s so frowned upon for us to seek professional help. Job well done writers.
3) Ashlyn…girl I love you but I couldn’t tell if she wanted to break up with Big Red or not. A month goes by and their still together. Is she happy? Does he know she is also queer? Hope these questions get answered in season 4!
4) Maddox and Jett are part of the crew now! Very excited they’ll be returning.
5) EJ is entering a new chapter. He finally became a man after that phone call with his father. Also impressed at his response to Ricky “you’re my brother.” He deserves better and the show trending in Brazil means he finally recognizes he is capable of being more than a Caswell. It’s no longer people labeling him as spoiled or selfish…he’s grown. And I love to see it!
6) I finally got my RINA!!!! I almost threw my phone at the tv! I screamed so loud, I couldn’t believe it was real! I was expecting Ricky to confess to Gina but it was equally satisfying for him to solidify his feelings with a kiss.
7) That trailer had my sides hurting from laughter and shock!! The consequences in season 4 will be hilarious to watch 😂
8) cried at least 3 times. Best written episode of the whole series.
they all couldn't see nini from the stage. like kourt said she only knew nini was there bc she was screaming and she recognized her voice. the only person hricky looked at was gina. i'm not a rini fan, never was but i still wanted them to have a last scene together. when i watched the ep tho i didn't need it anymore bc i LOVED that she got him the lottery ticket. giving him the last piece for him to finally let go of his childhood and move on. the symbolism of that was so beautiful i was okay with them not having a scene (and i mean with olivia only being on set for 3 days i'm VERY happy the scenes she got where with miss jenn and kourtney. i shed several tears.)
the finale with so amazing,they have really tied up the loose end and I'm really excited for Ricky and gina to be happy

Yeah. I hope they get to complete every on their terms. I remember when season one came out and they said they wrote enough for 6 seasons at least. Fingers crossed we get that far.

I am so happy because we see character development from everyone but can we about so song Kristoff lullaby that was incredible because Ricky did not like change at all but not he is ac·cept for this season 3 and I'm really looking forward to what took come from season 4
