OMG! I love the pillow so so much. I have been wanting to needle punch forever! Legit ordering the tool right now...!
You and macenna are the best DIYers in the world ❤️🌍. I just finished watching your last episode and I loved your projects
You guys need to do another collab asap! I love your diys
Yasss!!!! It makes such a pretty texture 🥰
@@areensari3994 I agree! There is no one else doing it like them right now, I live for their content every week. ❤
yes, a collab, pls..
For anyone doing the macrame project: I took her advice and made my beginning (120") pieces longer, at 140". I learned that made no difference in the shorter pieces you get at the end. The important pieces to make longer are the 100" ones, since they use up much of their length simply making the first wide arc of the piece. I'd recommend making the 100" pieces more like 130".
We’re you able to get it straight across? mine was not all even after following her tutorial
I know this is old but do u remember what macrame did use. 3, 4 5 mm?? Thanks
This was the most clearly filmed and explained Macrame piece I've seen in a UA-cam tutorial. The angles were great, your hands and arms didn't cover things up every 2 seconds, the pace was great, etc. I actually feel that I can make this, no problem. I don't even feel like I need to pause it and go find another video to double check how you did anything, which is usually what I have to do. No Frankensteining YT and Instagram tutorials to make one piece - yay! I am ordering supplies tonight and can't wait for the box to arrive! THANK YOU!
I actually think it’s kind of bad. Unless you’re already very familiar with macrame it’s hard to follow
@@williamehlers5158 it is bad, i'm a begginer, i'm trying to follow it, and i just can't, i feel there is lots of information missing. I can't finish my rug :(
@@Patitiodespi you are absolutely right.I also started it and it became a mess.Just left it.don,t know what to do with ropes, I wasted.
FYI: For those starting on punch needle... what she didn't mention, and I didn't see her do... It is a must to add an adhesive spray on the backside of your design. If not, it will unravel.
Thanks for the additional information.....
Thank you, my friend! This tip makes a HUGE difference!
I was wondering about that. Especially if you do cut the loops.
Great tip because mine unraveled lol
Thats So Trendy DIY no problem! 😊
My sister made a hook rug for my mom. She had it until the day she went into a nursing home. I’m not sure what happened to it. But she had it at least twenty years, maybe more, right in the middle of her living room. She loved that rug.
Ive been wanting to make a semi-circle macrame hanging but never understood tutorials for it, except for yours!! You are so good at explaining and showing exactly how you're supposed to do it. Thank you for that :D
I second this!!
That pillow was gorgeous! I have been watching videos on that and was so happy to see you trying it out. And the rug is way too cute to step on!
I’m getting my own apartment in July and I can’t WAIT to try all your DIY’s to decorate my place!
Yay!!! That’s so exciting!!! 🥰
She does some with Drew from Lone fox..he has great ideas too !!
deb vankoughnet I know! They’re both my faves
Im so lucky to have Mr Lonefox
GIRL!! I LOVE THAT Macramé Rug.....I think it will look PERFECT in my beach theme bathroom.... layered over light blue bathmat??? SWEET!
Omg I love punch needling! I haven’t done it yearsss since high school. I love the way it turned out! I’ll have to do this!
I love literally everything you do! Thank you for being such an inspiration!!
Speaking it into existence: I can't wait for the Xomacenna home decor line 😍😍😍
I’ve been looking into punch needling this last past week! Perfect timing with this video ❤️
I love how you are only adding the strings as you need them! That is REALLY helping be because I've only made ONE macrame wall hanging and it was mostly square knots and various braids. Plus, a few macrame feathers. Thank you for taking it slow and explaining so well!
OMG! I am so in love with the first project. It turned out to be gorgeous.
I love that you dont rush the video and take your time for us to see how it's done! Sooo refreshing, your very talented and I love your doggy, absolutely gorgeous 🐩🐾
Wow, especially that cushion is AMAZING!!
This is super cute! I’ve been wanting to diy a pillow for a while and had no idea what I wanted to do. Both diy’s are super cute. I love the pillow and mat!!
Yay!!! 🥰
Now you've done it.😂 I've been trying to get enough confidence to try and create a makrame wall hanging, and I found your tutorials very easy to follow. And now i am finding myself looking at punch needeling. You are such inspiration. I've been working on painting large barn quilt pattern for my wall. As the craft and art supply shops are closed I used Styrofoam board from packaging (dining table and chairs) instead of large canvass. Never been happier for not disposing of these large boards. Tfs 👍💖
I feel like you're making the Pinterest pipe dream obtainable for us regulars. That's a compliment. Pinterest is intimidating. Like window shopping when you're broke. You make these projects seem totally doable.
And also I'm just diggin your vibes. Love your onscreen personality 😉
How I wish I had those Punch needles too! So much love to this vid! 🖤
This is a great project! I used to do something very similar with a latch hook and made it a wall hanging as a kid. It was so satisfying and calming. Part of the reason I love to do art and craftwork today! Thank you for reigniting what I found so enjoyable as a kid, time to get some punch needle materials! Xo 🥰❤️
Made a punch hook rug in 1972 using a punch hook needle, rug yarn & burlap. I loved it & still have it. I’m surprised that Michael’s & Hobby Lobby do not sell the needles. Had to order them online for my grandsons. I think this will help keep them occupied during this pandemic.
The PILLOW! I have no words, how awsome it is! I'm saving this tutorial
It’s like you read my mind! I’ve been researching punch needling all weekend
Love the DIYs! She’s so talented it makes me inspired when I watch. Thanks for the tips!
My personal fav videos is the DI store remodeling things and the one your decorate your friends rooom ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The macrame rug and the punch pillow were gorgeous! Love the design and colors used in the pillow.
That rug...WOW. Gorgeous!!
Your personality is adorable! ! Love watching you create! Everything you do is high end! Thank you for the inspirations!
This is so beautiful. I am definitely going to give this a go. I just love your D.I.Y projects it gives me so much inspiration.
Omg yes! These turned out amazing - definitely something I could see being sold at UO or Anthropologie for inflated prices. I have a sage green cord and the rug would be the perfect DIY.
LOOOVEE that pillow design! Goes beautifully in your living room 😍
that pillow is gorgeous and the macrame project looks more worthy to be displayed on a wall than used as a bath mat!
That pillow 😍😍😍 loooooove!
Her videos are the only ones I never fast forward through. So creative!
Hey MaCenna!!! I had been busy DIYing all these days... It's such an escape! Thank you for all the great ideas 🥰💕💕💕
You are such an incredible mood booster❤ always have that happy energy and your smile is just so sweet❤
MAKE MORE MACRAME VIDEOS PLEASE! One of the best tutorials I’ve seen so far, best explanation ever
In Love!! The pillow turned out beautiful. Those pillows would for sure sell on your Etsy. I would love to see more needle punch pillows. These two DIY turned out beautifully!
I'm finally getting my monks cloth tomorrow so I cannot wait to get started on my pillows! You can use the thinner yarns in your punch needle by doubling the yarns or mixing one of the thinner yarns with the neutral coloured one (since you said that it was a bit too thin).
Woah!!! I’m really starting to love boho looks! All because of you! That pillow is just so cool! 🥰
Macenna I LOVE all the projects. The punch pillow. The Madame rug. You are so incredibly talented. Thank you, thank you for sharing your GOD given talents.

Omg was waiting for this all day they are so cool and very cute totally love it please do more of these
Love the macrame rug!! Will get on it
I love both of what you did!
both projects are beautiful.
The stunning punch needle pillow made me want to get a punch needle now! I tend to get infatuated with art trends and techniques that I've never done before so I have lots of tools and materials that take up space, but the itch to make something with a punch needle is too much to bear! The macrame mat also turned out so professional and pretty. I've never done macrame before but I suppose the cord will have to go on to my ever-growing list of art supplies now. Thank you for always sharing your knowledge and creativity with us! Lots of love from South Africa!❤
I’m so excited for the macrame rug!!!!!!!!!!
Both pieces are beautiful! I’ve been wanting to get into macrame lately. Definitely gonna try both of these!
