OMG I love this. We are going gluten free and I was so worried about the kiddos not getting things that they are used to. This just put my heart to ease. Thank you.
I absolutely love you at this moment! Ritz crackers are my absolute favorite to eat with chicken salad etc. I haven’t been able to enjoy them or cook with them in a couple decades.... they help make the most amazing meatloaf. I have gotta make these ASAP 🎉❤🎉
@@jennwatson74 I have Celiac Disease too.... this channel is such a gift to people like you and me. Eating gluten free isn’t an option, it’s a must for us. These recipes give us a lot of missed food joy ❤️
I love any kind of crackers. I tried to make Matzoh's and they came out great. These look great.. I am adding these to my list. Thank you.... Today I must have Pizza that is the Italian in me. Can't wait for the stone and peel to come today. :)
It's been months since I made these crackers, but I have a batch of these in the oven now, but just realized I forgot to poke the holes in'm. Oh well! Guess we'll see what happens! I'll do better on the second batch. These really are good and hard to put down.
This is a great video on making crackers! 🤗 I hope that flour was also gluten free! Also the veg or canola oil is highly processed and is inflammatory! I'd probably use virgin olive oil or virgin coconut oil! 😊 Take care and God bless you! 💗
Is it possible to substitute any oils you have in your recipe? My tummy doesn’t do too well with canola or vegetable oil. I usually like avocado oil or grape seed oil for a neutral oil.
I wouldn't recommend a blender, but you can use either a stand or handheld mixer OR just a bowl and fork or pastry blender, just like you would for pie dough.
I'm sorry, Loraine. Unfortunately, that is the only way I can put them on the blog, as a table. My recipe card plugin won't let me do it any other way. But you could screenshot it and then print it out as a screenshot. 😀
I made these and the flour was way tooooo wet . It was in the fridge for two days too. :(( is 2/3 cup of water too much ??? I did everything right . Im sad
I'm so sorry it didn't work for you. I just made them the other day and the water amount is correct. Did you use my flour blend or a store bought variety? That's probably where the problem lies.
Looks yum ! So I am Keto 100% which means no all purpose flour. Does anybody here know if I can substitute A.P flour for lupin Flour & the canola oil for coconut oil or olive oil ? Surely there will be differences but i'll be happy if i can get close to a Ritz cracker. thanks !
So you just sprinkled gluten flour so its no longer gluten free. My grandson has celiac disease so any gluten is harmful. Don't know why you would not just use the gluten free flour as before?
All flour I use is ALWAYS gluten free. The name of my channel is Let Them Eat GLUTEN FREE Cake, so anything I make is always gluten free. I also have celiac and I guess I assumed that when I create my videos I don't always need to comment that every sprinkle is using GLUTEN FREE flour, but I guess not everyone gets that.
I made these today. They are dangerous. Couldn't stop eating them. Thanks for the recipe.
I love making crackers. Store bought ones are soo expensive! I'm kind of lazy though, I cut them in rectangles so it is faster.

I can’t wait to try this; I have not been able to find a good gluten-free cracker recipe. I’m excited! Thanks so much.
Every gluten free cracker I've bought and tried has been too hard or nasty. Lol.

Yes!!!! Ever since my celiac diagnosis I’ve yet to make a really good meatloaf, I’m so excited!

Good idea! Thanks! I have a batch of them in the oven right now. It's been so hot of late that I haven't baked in months!
I happen to have found cutters at my thrift store! 🎉 Can't wait to make. I've already copied the recipe. Thank you, Kim!
Thank you! I’ll try and Veganize these,🤓.

The recipe will work just fine without them.
very nice recipe 🎉🎉❤❤
Thank you!!
These look amazing and probably better than ritz. I’m going to make these tomorrow, thanks!
These look delicious! I am wondering what gluten free flour blend is.... Is it coconut flour?
It is my own recipe for homemade gluten free flour. You will find it within this recipe.

Hi Kim
How are you today?🌷🌸
Can i use margerin Or shortning instead of vegetables oil?
It might change the consistency of the dough, but you can try it.
very nice recipe:)
Thank you!!
awesome recipe. what food processor are you using...?
This is the one I have: amzn.to/3T3dIBn

Can we add a mixture of rice flour and corn flour?
No, you won't get the same results.
Can you make this with regular all purpose flour (not GF)?
Yes!
What’s the best way to store these? My daughter will love these!!
I store them in a glass container. For some reason, the glass keeps them crisp. ☺
@@LetThemEatGlutenFreeCake thank you!! How long will they stay crisp?
@@the_sojournersbus in a glass jar, mine have lasted a couple of weeks (or more!) 😍
Mmm.. crackers..
Can we add milk instead of water
I'm sure that would be fine.

Absolutely! Anything that doesn't have a strong taste.
Could I use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil?
Sure!
What kind of salt is used

can this dough be frozen if you dont use it all in one go
Absolutely! Wrap well in plastic wrap and then put in a ziptop baggie. Store for 2-3 months.

is there possibly another option if we don't have a food processor 😢 mine broke
Yes, I just made some the other day in a bowl and used a fork to work the butter into the dough.
Can you use all purpose flour for this recipe?
Yes!

Can I sub regular flour for the gluten free?
Yes, you should be able 😊

Merci pour cette recette. Mais je ne trouve pas les quantités des ingrédients. Désolée.

i followed all steps but it turned out to have a bitter taste, & i tried two different temperatures for the two different plates. yet it was bitter

I don't know about the flour blend, but I'm sure the oil sub would work great!

Not sure what would have caused a bitter taste. What flour blend did you use?
All purpose flour is not G.F?
It's her gf all purpose blend
Gotcha 🤗 thank you

The lady probably means well but using vegetable oil, sugar is super inflammatory. The flour without gluten is not good since its wheat.
Looks amazing, will try for sure.
