I was thinking of buying One of those How's heavy barrel 243's for a second 243 .... And as far as Nikko Sterling scopes , there's nothing wrong with them for smaller calibres .. But like you said , bigger guns, better scopes. my 30-06 & 300wsm are both wearing Zeiss scopes.

I’m a big fan of the Vortex scopes, particularly for the bigger sticks. But I’m also starting to warm to the Bushnell scopes. The new Banner 2’s are real nice, and they will handle the bigger guns with no effect on their warranty, and I got that directly from Bushnell.

They are a good thing. I’ve got 2 of them. The old Stainless Heavy Barrel is just a big workhorse, and it now wears a Thermal Scope. I’ve also got a 1500 in Blued Sporter that’s a bit of a work in progress, but it’ll get there eventually. I love the HOWA’s and the 243 is a great caliber.

@@2clicksup910 because I looked at 6.5 creedmoor and 6mm creedmoor and like every one has one so gonna get the stainless 243 and do a low recoil bench gun

Got my eye on a hardly used Howa 1500 in .223 at my local dealer. Heavy stainless barrelled action. This scope just be the ticket on the Howa. Also found your video on brass prep useful. Cheers from Adelaide.

Firstly, grab that rifle before it’s gone. Good ones don’t tend to hang around. You won’t be disappointed with this scope, particularly on something like a 223. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and thanks for the support. Cheers.

I think your videos may have driven the price of these scopes up 😀...have not been able to find one in Oz AT $100...
