The Life Of Pablo is how Kanye feels his life is a mix of the three Pablos: Pablo Escobar, Pablo Picasso, & Saint Pablo. The focus is trying to give his life to god and focus on his family whilst he still lives as one of the world’s biggest superstars/living the party life that his life over recent years had succumbed to
Yes exactly. The album cover shows the conflict between traditional family life & a more shallow existence. This also explains the clashing lyrics on Father Stretch My Hands.

Sia is amazing. Her musical history is wild. She did acid jazz I think. And other genres way before she blew up. Since the late 90s? But never known outside Australia. Barely known there early on.
This is Top 2 Kanye only behind MBDTF imo. Everything about this project is near perfect from the wild cover art, the features, the production, the concept, and the rollout. The way he’d constantly update the track list and features on Twitter was so different. Everybody at the time was trying to get a tidal trial because at first it was exclusively on tidal. I think this album is the perfect representation of Kanye’s mind. It’s him expressing all his “Pablo’s”: Paul the Apostle (his faith), Pablo Picasso (his creativity), and Pablo Escobar (his manic controversial side). The way he can have gospel songs like Ultra Light Beam and Low lights and then transition to songs like Famous, Freestyle 4, Feedback really shows his BiPolar side. It’s funny and ironic how at the time people were saying “I miss the old Kanye and his older music”, but yet here we are 7 years later acknowledging this is one of his best bodies of work.
