Vocalized Chest Bass Tutorial!! | Colaps, Sxin, Bass Ventura and My special bass!

This is a much requested tutorial on my vocalised chest bass. I've also shown how to do Colaps'/Sxin's and Bass Ventura's bass.

Are you sure this isn’t a vocal bass?. Sounds extremely close to pwads technique. Either way your texture is amazing. I litterly just can’t get the chest bass

It's completely different!
This is a layered bass compromising of chest+voice!

Chest bass comes from your chest vibrations, unlike throat bass. And then adding voice to it gives it that texture that you hear!

@@yigitcrow instead of the vibration coming from the throat (throat bass) the vibration comes from the vocals (vocal bass) the texture for this base comes from the bass from the chest combined with the throat vibration, to add amazing texture

They are both technically coming from your throat and both even use the false folds, but the chest bass does feel like it's coming from a much lower position. The throat bass vibration is verrrry hard to separate from your vocals (although possible) but chest bass is easy to do with out vocals. If you keep getting throat bass when trying to do chest bass, try growling over a pure whisper with NO vocal cord activation. If you can find a vibration there, it's probably chest bass, and from there you can add vocals if you want. To find throat bass, try clearing your throat with vocals. If you can only do the sound with vocals, and it feels impossible to do over a whisper, it's most likely throat bass.
If this helps... When Louis Armstrong sings "what a wonderful world" the growl he gets in his voice is vocalized chest bass. If you can copy that sound, that might help.
