BIMTV Ep.20: 2023 FMSQ Chaineland Final, Victoriaville, Quebec

This was the best XC course I have ever rode! The track, weather, and race was absolutely perfect...I wish I could say the same for my luck. Some mechanical failures at the beginning of the race forced me to start 5 minutes late and then left to struggle in the race. Had to pull off on the last lap due to a loosened oil cap that left oil spewing everywhere!

A rollercoaster of emotion! Cant believe your oil cap came off again! And oh man that last clip, i can feel the frustration of it not starting.

Amazing effort! Not sure if it's a problem on the new models, but could it be the notorious ground strap issue? Seems like it's tight and fine but you take it off where it connects to the bike frame, sand the metal, reconnect it, problem solved. Some people relocate where it grounds to to a better spot on the frame or add a 2nd ground location as well. Just a thought.
