Keaton has always been proud of being Batman but never into the lore or comic myth of Bats. And Ford is very protective of the Indy character. It’s Star Wars he’s never seemed in love with.
Who knows. Justin Kurzel directed and made the MacBeth film with Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard which was great. Those same three people worked on Assassin’s Creed. Some people just don’t translate well to other type of films. M Night being another example.

The DCEU was a complete mess there should have never been a batgirl movie. Not right now anyway not until wb fixed their mess but they never did. Maybe later we will get a batgirl movie in the DCU. However Barbara might be Oracle in DCU. I guess they can do a prequel movie before Barbara become Oracle.

Although he was ok with doing it once for The Flash at the same time I don’t think Michael Keaton was very keen on reprising his role as Batman multiple times, I think for him he kinda just wanted that one last hoorah and that’s it, similar to how Tobey Maguire probably feels about his role as Spider-Man, I’m sure he liked doing it but after that I don’t think he was really all that enthusiastic on redawning the cowl again, and so when this movie got cancelled he was probably thinking “Eh, I wasn’t really looking to keep doing that role anyways”
It really depends on the check and how much work he has to do.Keaton isn't a young man anymore so when stunts are performed he doesn't need to be on the set.

Flash was friggin awesome. It's got Michael F-ing Keaton. The one and only Batman himself. Overall it was good but not a fan of Miller playing flash. He plays Barry Allen like a goofball which isn't the Barry Allen in the comics.
Well it is hypocritical to release it with all the problems Ezra Miller was causing. But the movie on its own is pretty solid. Having Keaton reprise his role one more time was pretty great. Also I'm sure you know but the ending to the flash was changed. After Barry fixes the timeline he would be at the courthouse and both Michael Keaton and supergirl would show up. And that was the set up to bat girl. Because think about it. How the fuck would Michael Keaton be in batgirl if things got fixed in the flash. Unless it takes place in a different universe but that would have caused even more mess. Since they eventually wanted to do a supergirl and bat girl crossover
