Absent from the video is a mention of the fact that the cooling fan (in addition to the condenser fan) will operate if refrigerant pressures above 215 psi in low speed, above 258 psi in high speed.
It should be fully understood the ECT sensor input to the ECM has a broad influence on both engine and vehicle function. Affecting everything from fuel Injector pulse width to climate control operations.
My statement in the video that “this test can also be used to check temperature gauge functionality” is really a gross understatement.
