i know stix does this for the content but its highly unlikely to ever get a game where u pick caitlyn jungle and ur team doesnt automatically flame you into eternity or throw the game themselves. also he duo's with a support a lot of the time. hes def duo'd with yuumi bc in no elo ever is a yuumi supp gonna ditch lane to latch onto cait jungle

I confirm this. I did a pretty decent clear and 2 ganks and the moment 2 of the lanes started failing. It all came down to me picking cait jungle... loosing first drake made them loose their mind completely... and just like you said... the started throwing the game.

Yes, ADC can deal a lot of damage if he plays with good support to help him win his lane. But how many times are you guaranteed to get a better Support than the enemy team? The answer is it depends on your luck.

I'll go even further and say that ADC might've been the weakest role in the entire game if you don't duo with a Support you can trust, and a noncrackhead jungler who plays sensibly.
Overall, it's just a stupid role in solo queue, IMO.
