I was one of seven who cleared this whole ship in Portsmouth VA. Took us over a year to get all her stock and supplies out of her. If you scratch the surfaces of the doorways or any type of lockers if there’s any left on her you’ll see MT or M.T that was my markings showing that the space was clear .
I know that was probably meant for a chuckle but it was pretty accurate when you said "looks like a bathroom in some of the bars in the lower east side of new york city". I've been in bars..lol
@@jillshannan800 I always thought that would make a nice tank bloc, with a smaller pony bottle and regulator, attached in the middle, as a bailout/safe second.. Does anyone offer that tank bloc, or do you have to have it custom made.
This channel is pure gold and I suspect the lack of some minor tweaks holds it back. Have you tried SEO? (Search engine optimation). The first thing is to add keywords to your channel tags. Right now you have none. There is no reason why all your videos can't get a spark. I used to watch your videos when I had my boat in the sound. Hit me up if you want to try some things.
Nice, you added channel tags. Now the video tags you put are ranking pretty good. I would add some long island sound diving to the tags. You can add a few more. 356 views 1/29/20 21 likes 2.56k subs.
Is it common in Florida for wreck divers to wear a strobe? I've never heard of that before but have seen 2 FL vids in the past week where a diver was wearing strobes. Seems kind of weird to me. Around here we would only use a strobe to mark the anchor line (in poor vis). I think that flashing would irritate me if that was a dive buddy or if I were trying to take video...
katietatey We use them on our deco bottles. That way when we got drop, it is easy to locate your buddy. Then when we drop our deco bottles, it marks them well.

I love the narration on this channel. So peaceful

Great video
Pretty cool home that it made for all that wildlife
Wish I had the money to do what you do :) I'm so happy to see a glimpse thank you
It’s free if you free dive ;)
Amazing Dive!
Reminds me of the days I was the Captain of the SS Crapola.
Nice one, Denis; big bummer about the radar dishes - they used to look very cool.
Can’t wait I dive the Vandenberg in March with Captains Corner
Nice 👍
Great video!
Love the video! What size double tanks was Jill diving?
Those are a set of steel 50’s. They are really comfortable for recreational diving, and I can still use the same setup I use for tech diving.

What time of year was this dive ?
The dates, depths and temps are in all the videos. Watch bottom left as it plays the descents.
The radar dish was actually blown off when the ship was sunk 2 be made a reef.
Tysonharris17 it was but they remounted them, they were knocked off again by a hurricane.
Ok
@@PrivatePractical i take it you saw the documentary too 🤣. Funny to think they re attached them only for them to come off again
Any idea what type of strobe the first diver uses? I also asked on SB but am not sure which is checked more often.

Ron - the strobe looks like a Tektite Lite 6: www.tek-tite.com/proddetail.php?prod=TEKNA_Lite_6_Strobe
It is a tektite lite 6.
