Tbh, Hololive does better because character breaks exist. They're so natural, I barely registered her voice going deeper. Luna's character especially is hard to keep up.
That why Korone, Miko and Coco spiked in popularity because people in the west at least feel like they are like a natural streamer and not just a character

That's good because characters hold them back. Which is why nijisanji tend to have more freedom, they don't really have characters to play so it's all natural

She is just speaking more with her normal tone of voice. As for the "ORA" and related stuff, she still uses them now and they with her character's voice.
Personally I'd prefer if she just spoke normally in general. It'd be more comfortable for her and me. But I guess that's not happening.
That's how it is. Its incredibly difficult to keep up acting for a long time, especially in video game collabs. Its why you know Sakura Miko and Pekora actually sound like that, because they've never sounded any different (yes pekora has broken the 'peko' character a few times, but never her tone and laugh', but Miko always sounds elite, she is without a doubt elite in real life too.
IIRC There is a video floating around where Korone confirms that Miko is like that even off stream, but I cant find it :x
@@TwitchingBouse Miko at least has a medical condition for why she sounds like she does, so I think she's just talking somewhat naturally for the most part.

Luna has a much more subtle witty comedy that really comes out when she's interacting with the others but there are times Luna has made me laugh really hard.

I almost deleted this comment before posting cause I thought that maybe it was just how she sounded over discord cause her voice was lower quality than usual, but she went back to doing her usual "naaaaa" voice a minute later.
Half the time she didn't even make an attempt at using the usual voice LMAO

@@LifeisMoldyBread it's a really nice voice, but with both her and Subaru using altered versions of their voices, it definitely helps prevent them from getting recognized in public and getting doxxed/stalked
And also, supply and demand.
Her voice really isn't that different irl. It's more her speech pattern that changes. She talks faster, more excitedly and doesn't use the baby-ism as much. Basically the main difference between Luna and her real voice is just the tone and volume. She cant hide it when she laughs or gets really excited of course lol

As of now, I removed the red outline from the bottom. Do you feel a different color would be better for future thumbnails?
You could change it to blue or any light color that is not close to red because for some reason, youtube still recommends videos you already watched... theres a chance that people won't click it , and I don't want that to happen in any dedicated translators out there

Nothing about this is out of character lol. Luna is just adorable and funny all the time.
Seriously though, I wouldn't really count this. Her voice just gets a bit deeper than usual but everything else is still completely in character. Still doing the nora, still acting like she does any other day. She has various different "moods" that can make her seem like a different character but it's just like any normal person. Watch her streams with Subaru vs with Matsuri. And then her solo streams. She's almost like a different person in each of them but the foundations of her character are all still there.
Basically what I'm saying is Luna has always been a much deeper character than most people give her credit for. People just see the "baby talk" and write her off. But she's hilarious and really nice to everyone. It's always fun to watch her succeed at things like gaming and piano and it's cute when she messes up and tries again. I'm glad Luna has been getting popular lately but overall I still think she's very underrated and overlooked.
Yup. The character break was pretty much a click bait relating back to her original background setting as a 0 year old princess.
But her character have grown over the year and became something much more. I'm sure everyone will loves her no matter what.

Man I'm surprised you'd make that kind of mistake. 2:33 Luna says "Onaka ga ittai" not "Onaka ga ippai" kek. It's pretty commonly used. Either way, good job on translating as usual. There are other small mistakes but the message still gets across anyway
