“Through the Universal Gateway: Refuge, Kuan Yin, and Me”. Guest speaker Richard Ollier, from Birmingham, UK, brings a Pure Land Buddhism perspective to the visionary Mahayana sutras. This talk examines the important place that the Bodhisattva Quan Yin, also known as Avalokiteshvara or Kannon, has played in his life.
