Soooo there's a lot of bad camera work in this. I'm sorry 🙏🥲😭 It's definitely not my best work. I'm getting used to filming again and this was a really pretty poor job! But I promise it'll get better in the future! 😭😭
Hi again ms modeller. I always admire your perseverence. You model a very niche subjects so the models are not mass produced items. By there very nature they are short run kits so they will always need a lot of work. Maybe now its time to start trying to improve your scratchbuilding skills. I gave up on airbrushing years ago, could never quite get the hang of it.Keep up the good work.
@@MsModeller I wasn't referring to the end result.. I meant the kit just looks like a nightmare.. I find it hard to believe that they let them leave the factory in that state 😳
Tres bien! (mostly) - Well done for seeing it through to the end and ended up with a reasonable result. You are correct that it is too easy to just abandon a kit that doesn't go well.
Mach2 kits are generally esoteric but are at best short run quality. I have several WW2 French twins of theirs to build. At this point I look at them and work out how to tackle them.
Hey if your SQ-6K looks good where you have it, then that's what matters. Your collection of first-generation jets is a wonderful group, and having them displayed together enhances and highlights the dedication and passion you have for making these less-popular kits. I like your 'aluminum skin' effect. I also like the amount of research you do in order to teach us about the history of the aircraft that you model. As for your videography, you might consider piecing together a 'studio'. Look for one or two older-generation go-pros or equivalent that you can purchase. Mount one high up looking down at your hobby-area, and find a way to mount the other on a wall in front of you and your work, looking down onto what you're currently working on. This would allow you to 'mix' some close-up and wide-angle views into your finished video. For really close detail video keep using what you have if you can 'lock' the aperature and focus settings. Doing so would provide a 'box' where you can work that will always be in focus and properly exposed. Regardless, you do good work with the video and audio tools you have. Your narration is excellent! You give us good history of your subject and you weave a good tale of what you're doing as you build! As for subjects, do you have any plans to model some of the AModel kits of early Soviet jet- and rocket-powered aircraft? I've done the I-302 and the J-270. I'd rate the quality of the kit to be similair to this Mach kit; maybe a bit better molding. The decals are very challenging; you can soak them for a very long time and they are still difficult to slide off the backing without tearing.
Thanks for taking the time to do this comment! I really appreciate the feedback and overall good vibes! For the camera, I can't quite afford a Go Pro yet but I have just got a new camera and it's wall mounted so I should be able to get better shots much easier now. I want to do all the weird and wonderful things in the future! But for now I'm just trying to get used to the new up 😊I've got a few videos coming up of old-style but you'll see a shift in Octoberish! 💟
@@MsModeller This sounds silly but you might ask family and friends if anyone has an iPhone or such they no longer use. You could utilize that as a secondary camera until you have the funds to gopro!
@@retirednavychief6983 For now I'm gonna just see how I go! I try and self-fund the channel with memberships and donations, so I'll consider this with next pay. I do have an old phone but I just need to work out how I'd be use it! 💟💟

Ms Modeller always finding the most obscure kits from planes that are even more obscure. Cool!
I know, right? 😂
You completed a Mach 2 kit, no mean achievement. Well done!
Thank you! I'm warming to it now! 🙏

Wow, thank you 💟😊
Cool! I never thought to use water to 'thin' and soften modeling putty. Thanks!
Happy to help! I learnt from a wargamer many moons ago so I'm glad it helps! ✌️
Fairshout for seeing it thru. Look forward to see what else French Feb brings and would love to see you do the Caproni jet.
Thank you! I always try not to give up 😂
Another lady modeler 🤩!! Fenris just introduced me to your channel! I’ve just subbed! Love your eyeshadow 💖🐌
Thanks for subbing! 💟
Great to see you back again.. I hope you're doing well.. ❤ That looks like an absolute pig of a kit..
It...it wasn't the best kit 🥲

Too right 🙏

I think the way to do it is just kinda assume it'll be bad and anything better is a bonus 😭
Talk about a kit fighting you every step of the way. Came out nice in the end though. Another weird and wonderful bird to add to the collection!
Glad you liked it! It was a tough one but loved it with the Machtrainer 🙏😊

Someone had a death wish I think! 🥲
Really good work-I liked and subscribed. My channel's modeling has lately been planes and submarines :) so I appreciate!
Amazing! Thank you so much! I'll check out your vids too! 💟
great video - thanks for uploading - - don't beat your self up - some kits are badly made and designed - kind regards David
Very true - I sometimes forget how bad some kits can be! 👌
How is Archie?....haven't seen him for the longest time.🙂🙂🙂
I'll try and feature him next video 💟
@@MsModeller awesome.👍
Wjat airbrush you got?
All will be revealed 👀

i think you are very harsh on yourself, Mach 2 kits are awful, getting any result from one is a major achievement .
I'm my own worst critic that's for definite 💟
Fancy she said ...
Fancy for me is anything above £0.00. So it is technically fancy 😂😭🙏
Japanese jets???!!! Didn't realise that they had jets!!!
Yup! Basically an Me 262 and some derivatives.
I thouhjt the Fouga was the 1st jet from france....only kidding.lol😂😂😂.
But the Fouga is life ✨
