Thank you. I actually have one of those but it got lost in my room. I did test it out though and well...it didn't really offer much of a difference. I still prefer using just the mic + phantom power.
@@KonzTech Thanks for the reply brother. I wasn't quite sure what the "heck" is this phantom power, that's why asked you. By far, you are the only one guy who actually explained this microphone with proper setup. Thanks again. BTW phantom power supply isn't that cheap.
Bro if i use phantom power or audio interface with maono aua03 so its right to use or it may damage product please honestly tell actually i have super low voice with maono aua03 if i use phantom power so it didnt affect microphone please ensure me ?
XLR condenser microphones like this one are meant to be used with phantom power to get their best potential. It will not damage them in any way. If you have a super weak voice then I suggest you look for a good quality phantom power that offers clean gain like the Focusrite scarlet
Hmmm you should try the fifine mics I wish to compare them as they are usb mic but has good quality for their price I’m not really sure about it cause I’m not a mic expert
USB mics are fine. Sometimes they are even better than budget XLR mics like these even with phantom power. The advantage of XLR mics is that they are scalable and can be used on audio interfaces as opposed to USB mics that do not. Maybe when I get some funds we'll be able to review more of these. There are a lot of great USB mics like that and the Razer Siren, Maono(USB), Reddragon and HyperX.
Sir my maono mic sounds okey without phantom power, plugged to maono soundcard too… so this mics are plugged and play ?.. but is it okey to use phantom power right? Seems like the maono has its own booster.. it sounds amazing alone….but with phantom power. Its louder too
The interface is sometimes called soundcard by some people like me. Sound interface/soundcard/card..they pretty much are the same xD Some soundcards/interfaces have built-in phantom power too
wala pong noise cancellation mga condenser mics. They're not made like that kc they are designed to capture sound inputs at the best quality and noise cancelling will distort it. Nid niu po ng noise cancelling headset or AI noise cancelling software like Krisp or RTX voice

Hi Please advice. I have connected Maono Au-A03 condenser mic to a Stranger C25 Music amplifier for live singing with the help of a 3.5 to 6.5 mm converter but the mic is not working through the amplifier. Pleaseeee Help Do I need to buy a phantom power supply. Will this solve the issue and if yes any specification for the power supply ?
Never really tried that bro so I can't give a clear advice. It may be your adapter or you can be also correct that it needs phantom power..considering you're trying to amplify the mic's input..that demands more power..right?
Hey bro. This is really good video and I also bought the maono au a03 but my pc picks up very low sound like literally i have scream in mic, only than it will detect my sound.. So Do i need a phatom souce.. Plz reply
yeah you will likely need phantom power. If you don't use phantom power, your mic will have to rely on your computer's onboard soundcard which is probably not giving it enough power. If you have the budget..get something with a pre-amp
Sir can i use maono au-a03 only with phantom power supply.... because with phantom power supply it's sounding loud crisp and clear... Orr should I use it directly with pc without using any interface orr power supply.... I purchased this mic basically for singing.... Please kindly suggest me what things should I use to make my songs recording better 🥺
Different audio interfaces have different features..the most common ones like the V8 sound card offers a little bit of noise cancelling, some extra effects/sound effects that streamers often use. Some highend interfaces also have built in phantom power(so they have an XLR jack). If you're on a budget you can just go with this mic and see if it's ok. If you need more gain, then you can maybe purchase a phantom power.
If you're into singing you can just make do with a decent mic like this and work on your room acoustics like applying some sound dampening on the walls. Phantom power just gives the mic a little bit of boost
So the main purpose of audio interface is to cancel the white background noise not more that.... perhaps that white noise can also be removed by editing right ... Basically for singing maono au-a03 and a phantom power supply is enough yes?
Any phantom power should be fine. It merely just provides the power needed for the mic..some audio interfaces already provide it so if you could get one with phantom power, it's better
Hi, I just wanna ask if you could help me with my setup. I bought a Maono AU-AO3T but when I already plugged it in my laptop and try to record in bandlab/ audacity, there’s a delay or latency if that was it called. I don’t have any soundcard, audio interface or phantom power. Hope you can response, thank you!
By any chance are you trying to monitor your own voice while recording? If yes, then there will definitely be a delay if you monitor it from your computer(the faster the computer, the lesser the delay). Zero latency monitoring can be achieved by monitoring directly from your mic or through your sound interface. Do note that some mics may not allow it so a dedicated sound interface would be your best setup. The same goes for recording voice with a music track..the music track must be directly fed to the sound interface along with the mic..you monitor the music from the interface as you record your voice.
@@KonzTech this is really a big help! I really learned a lot from you. Thank youuu! Last question, i’m also trying to record from my iphone, which needs a dongle connector. Tried also recording at the video camera but it seems the mic was not connected as well. Should I make a refund for this mic? Or buy a new connector. @Camile Hernandez uhhhh it may be just an issue with compatibility or some settings in your iphone that must be tweaked. I use the Y connector on my android phone to record my keyboard typing videos with sound and it works alright..looks like you are really trying to record with music. Try to get a V8 soundcard since it's cheap and search up guides on youtube on how to record with it. I remember seeing a video before where one girl records through her phone. She uses 2 phones though..one phone feeds the music track to the V8 then output from the V8 goes to her recording phone. Alternatively, you can record the melody on your phone and listen to it on headphones while you record the vocals on your computer...then sync up the 2 tracks in audacity...this is what my cousin does.
yes. I've shown it in the video but I didn't show how I set it up(too lazy to do it haha). The audio interface I used is a V8 soundcard. So you plug the mic first to the Phantom power then the phantom power output goes to the audio interface..then the interface goes to your PC or to whatever device you're using

I can't really vouch sa v8 kasi ang naging silbi lng tlaga nia sa setup ko is tinatanggal nia ung white noise at the expense of somehow reducing the mic's range so minsan nagcclip ung audio ko kpag mejo malayo nako sa mic or kpag may sudden loud noise sa background. Currently ang setup ko is mic+phantom power. Ang issue ko lng tlaga is ung white noise and ung mga sudden background noises(di kasi soundproofed ung room)...which is nalilinis naman via audacity pero un nga minsan panget ung linis kaya pansin ko iba iba labas ng boses ko per recording.
