I think it creates fantastic content, allows completely unknown people to have a chance in the spotlight/possibly catch eyes of people that can help them start a career in gaming, and is super fun for literally everyone involved. And it doesn't even have to be $1k everytime. The $100 was plenty for me to be hype about, me and my buddy were screaming out of pure joy in discord at each other hahaha. I hope to see more of this!
