Fun video, as usual, thank you! The car is a good starting point I think. Personally, I like the paint scheme but if this becomes sort of a base model, then the better version(s) should probably have a different paint set up. The AI brake choices were... interesting. A look at the brake graphs would be good to see but with out seeing those, it seems like the AI was struggling to get the front and rear brakes balanced and this was how it chose to do that. For as big a car as it is, I think twice the power would be a good way to go. Either by turbo-ing the existing engine or by building a V-8. I wonder if a 1.7L V-8 could get to 300 hp NA ? That would be fun to see.
When revisiting this, you should definitely go for a BRZ/FRS/86 type of performance. Bump it up to a 2.0L and focus heavily on handling while making around 200bhp. (Low Power but Good Handling sports car build pretty much).
Nice looking car, I’d like to see a 7 liter v8 in it but… it should be a electric car A.I. car that u turned into a drag car with all updated suspension, engine, brake setup, trans, all the best for everything else.. but that’s just me.. Drag Car all the way.. love ur videos and commentary.. the best at automation videos there is.. have a good one brother, much love from Texas! 🫡🇺🇸
As the proud owner of a 9th Gen Corolla, I object to your hatred of FFs! I apologise for the wall of text, please do not feel required to read it. I tried to break it into paragraphs to make it a bit easier to process. Okay, more serious now. I feel like FWD cars get a bit of a bad reputation because the transmissions are primarily used in econoboxes. (becauase they're generally more efficient than other styles, and therefore waste less power getting it to the ground) However, that does not mean they are inherently bad. Due to the differences in weight distribution and power delivery, they favor a different driving style. (And benefit more from an LSD, particularly geared/helical, than other drive types.) You have to pay extra attention to weight transfer, and trail breaking through to the apex will help a lot. You want to apex slightly later, so that you have more time for transfer and less for power on turning. A large part of what you have to learn is how to get grip OFF of the rear, which you don't do for rear or most AWD vehicles. And that if you rotate too much, either countersteer very very slightly, or get on the power to transfer grip to the rear and loosen the front. You also tune the cars pretty differently. (If someone wants, I will happily elaborate more on this. I cut this section short.) Again, the focus is on maximizing front grip and being able to transfer it from the rear. This is a big reason why stiffer rear sways are popular for most FFs. I will say that I have impressed some people with my Corolla's handling abilities, on stock suspension and cheap tires. But that was because I knew what I was doing, and it's a pretty light car with a decently responsive engine. Having said all this, I will freely admit that my dream car is an FR. But I have no objections to owning a couple more FFs along the way.
I definitely don't hate FWD cars, it might just be that the ones I've driven are all average and not sports oriented. Even my Tiburon isn't really a sports car, it's basically an Elantra with a different body
Love the video! But what if your did a automation vs. flux series? where you use the ai creation to make a car and you make a car then put them to the test!
Honestly I’ll give the AI some slack here. A budget track car is a difficult thing to get right. It needs good handling, a responsive engine, and above all - it needs to be cheap. Handling and a responsive engine go hand in hand. Handling and cheap can go hand in hand. All 3 together is where it gets difficult
As a civic owner, the application you’re planning for your car matters when it comes to the choice of drivetrain. The civic is a slow economy car from 1999, but once I put coilovers on, decent tires, and some weight reduction, it’s super fun on the downhill, and so slow I don’t really get into trouble when I wanna unleash all of its screaming 120hp
I love your videos, I’ve watched every video you have posted. Thank you so much and you have made me laugh so much throughout this channel.I’m the 60th view yaaaaayyy

that rear end, chef's kiss
yeah this car deserves better tbh, like a juicy NA V10 or something like that
Fun video, as usual, thank you!

It gives 300zx vibes, maybe try to hit those numbers?
Would love to see a Spicy version of this car.
low key looks like the new Z
Modern 300zx vibes
But on crack
@@jaceritchie7948God especially those headlights
Absolutely looking forward to the tuned version! The design was gorgeous
You should make an improved version of this car.
Really like the design language honestly, think it would look sick on a hatchback
We need to see an ultimate track car version of this!

Every time I use ChatGPT it tells me naturally aspirated or twin-turbo charged 4-5 liter V8 😂.
Automation built in AI isn't much better haha
I'm the second patreon supporter! Love the content.
Thank you!
@automotiveflux anytime man! Keep up the great content! I have created some cars on there myself
Hey automotiveflux the next can be the most deluxe , safe and relible car on automation is can be a Nice video

front feels reminiscent of Rover SD1 lol
I wish I knew what mods were being used for the headlights and taillights
