- From season 4, episode 17 "The New Mrs. Ewing"
J.R. Ewing: Larry Hagman
Leslie Stewart: Susan Flannery
Jordan Lee: Don Starr
Merilee Stone: Fern Fitzgerald
Go ahead Stephanie! I miss you on B&B.
"My Daddy´s gonna hit the ceiling when he hears about this." And Jock did hit the ceiling when he heard about this!
Never understood what the writers were trying to accomplish by creating the Leslie Stewart character. She didn't fit in at all but at least they realized their mistake b/c it looked as though they were setting her up for a storyline in the following season. Instead, you never heard from her again.
+James Kennedy i never understood why she was recording their conversations, not unless she was planning to blackmail JR.
+msmithstud I think they were working towards Leslie giving the tapes to Jeremy Wendell but since they (thankfully) dropped her character, that storyline never materialized.
+James Kennedy I agree. The whole Leslie Stewart plotline never made any sense and her being gone the next season made her being there a total waste.
+LBF522 Yep. Completely pointless.
And not attractive at all
Leslie strapped it on in this one!..XD
The look on Jordan Lee´s face at 0:31 is priceless!
I may be studying Public Relations in the Fall, but I don't think they interfere with business deals. I do know that Jock threw a gasket when he found out.
laminage If anything, getting your feelings hurt and storming out of a meeting you proposed yourself is bad form.
@@sharkheadism EXACTLY. Those two were so pissy - how did they get in the front door? No cartel would give them the time of day, let alone responsibility for an important presentation with King J.R.
Is this actually Stephanie from Bold & Beautiful?
Dragomir Stoyanov yes it is!
Dragomir Stoyanov yes
She was!
Yes
I miss seeing Susan's lovely face on TV
Jordan Lee and Marilee Stone didn't have to flip-out like big babies. And JR could have continued the meeting.
Babies? Jr was letting this woman who knew little to nothing about the business, to talk for him. So why talk to JR?
J.R. should've either told her to shut up or excuse her from the meeting.
The Actress must have wanted to get on Dallas, she and Joan Collins stared in a 1976 TV Mini series called the Money Changers.
No apology for Leslie. No "I am so sorry" Instead she made the situation worse.
Dealing with mighty Stephanie Forrester 😵💫🥴😁
"A once in a lifetime opportunity and we thought that we would cut you in as a token of our appreciation."
Even though it was "strip mining" it wasn't something that was going to be part of the norm at Ewing oil. The first time I saw this I missed the above mentioned comment.
Now I know why JR and especially Jock Ewing were so pissed. Their PR lady just cost the company upwards of a Billion dollars. Because of the amount of cash involved you deal with the PR part of it later.
Leslie was hot hot hot.
Leslie may have had a point, but she should've waited till she and J.R. were alone. The meeting could thus have continued, without anybody getting, as J.R. put it, 'hot and bothered'. 😐
They say they could do the deal without him but then they storm off like a pair of crybabies ? 🤔
woman's place is in the bedroom sure as hell not in the boardroom.
They should have let Jock deal with Leslie
Miss Ellie would have had something to say about that!
