I must look at the score sometime. VW must have messed up somehow: amateurs (here and elsewhere) sing "the apple tree do lean down. Low in..." That makes no sense. Professionals (Heddle Nash, Thomas Allen, etc, etc, etc) render it as "do lean down low in Linden Lea" Apart from that: nice.
Aaaargh - DON'T breathe between "down" and "low" - it makes complete nonsense of both the words and the music and spoils an otherwise lovely performance, I particularly liked the middle of the last verse. Listen to professional recordings: not one of them breathes there!
